We Thirst …For God’s Love

St. Patrick’s Prayer within Henryk Górecki’s Symphony No.3 “Symphony of Sorrowful Songs,” within Terrence Malick’s “to The Wonder.”

We are mortal. God’s Love is inexhaustible, eternal.

  1. Oh my gosh, I love this movie so much! Terrence Malick is a true artist/auteur. I’m a Christian transgendered film director, and Malick’s movies are an absolute inspiration for my own work. “To the Wonder” has a special resonance to me because I watched it around the time I was finally admitting to myself that I’m transgendered. This movie reminded me that beauty can be found in anything at a time when I was afraid of the brokenness of life, and that love is all that matters when I was afraid of the ramifications of living more honestly.
