There are many courageous individuals, but they have no determining influence on public life…

…Must one point out that from ancient times a decline in courage has been considered the first symptom of the end?” Alexander I. Solzhenitsyn, Commencement Address Delivered At Harvard University, June 8, 1978

~~~
Imagine an Old Testament prophet combined with John the Baptist and with the Apostle Paul. Now imagine this unremarkable bearded composite standing and speaking to an intellectual group at a modern-day Mars Hill…
In this fascinating audio clip, Christian philosopher Dr. Peter Kreeft delivers a reflective dialogue with Solzhenitsyn, with a teaching associate and with himself. He does this as he recalls sitting in the audience listening to Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s Commencement Address at Harvard on June 8, 1978.
