A short time ago I came upon a social media post by someone with an “atheist” handle. He put out an unexpected terse comment in a thread about space science. It was meant to mock Christians: “Christians pray to man-made gods”. So, I responded.
His defense of such a claim and against the scientific claims I had made toward evidence of a creator, which included fine-tuning and the anthropic principle, was based on quotes from his man-made gods: Neil deGrasse Tyson and Sam Harris. He ended our back and forth with a dismissive comment.
I relate this to show that scientism – “the opinion that science and the scientific methodare the best or only way to render truth about the world and reality” (Wikipedia) – has become the defense strategy in cosmic trials deciding “What is true and who says so”. A recent cosmic trial involving the COVID, nee influenza, pandemic, saw the scientism strategy used to defend the criminal takeover of humanity with its appropriation of “What is true and who says so”.
A man who declared “I am the science” – Anthony Fauci – was the star witness for the defense. On the stand Fauci said “The science” was behind everything he said and did. And that’s why he was “calling the shots” about how COVID should be handled. And though substantive claims had been brought against the “The science” triggering a trial, unprecedented action by the court prohibited witnesses for the other side to take the stand to support their claims.
Extensive amounts of scientific evidence to the contrary had been blocked from the trial, including the Great Barrington Declaration. Key plaintiff witnesses, including medical doctors and pathologists, who would testify against the claims of “The Science” were threatened with loss of licensure and censored. Outside the courtroom they were labeled “science deniers’ and “conspiracy theorists”.
The jury wasn’t sequestered. Its members watched the mainstream media where COVID was presented 24/7 as a public health crisis and “The science” as the world’s savior. They heard that obeying “The Science” would lead to “flattening the curve”, “ending lockdowns”, and its vaccine would “stop COVID in its tracks”. Under that influence and the fear of the same repercussions the key plaintiff witnesses suffered, the jury ruled in favor of Fauci’s “The science made me do it.” They ok’d a power grab by the local, state, and federal government and the CDC, NIH, and Big Pharma.
As a result, people were told what to do with their bodies, their relationships, their social activity, their businesses, and their churches. And they were told, in essence, that science and the scientific method, in the hands of a select few, was the best or only way to render truth about the world and reality. As a result of that, power and wealth accrued for the winners of scientism’s trial.
Is there a “Climate Change Crisis” is the next cosmic trial and the outcome has already been rigged in favor of science and the scientific method in the hands of a few. Expert witness testimony opposed to the defense’s “Climate Change Crisis” propositions will not be given a hearing. The media is on the payroll of “Climate Change Crisis” defense team.
The truth about the world and reality is being altered with opposing testimony being censured and the promotion of a climate change “consensus”, a consensus that is based on crystal ball climate models generating position papers often paid for with grants that expect a certain outcome if more money is to flow. And though TV meteorologists forecast weather only 5 or 7 or 10 days out, climate activists predict apocalyptic events in terms of years. Reality is being altered with an environmental version of the Late Great Planet Earth.
With a looming “catastrophe” on the horizon, the climate cult has been hard at work making climate converts – young people who will catastrophize about a climate crisis.

“Catastrophizing is a cognitive distortion that prompts people to jump to the worst possible conclusion, usually with very limited information or objective reason to despair. When a situation is upsetting, but not necessarily catastrophic, they still feel like they are in the midst of a crisis.”
Getting young people to catastrophize about man-made climate change will motivate more money changing hands for wind farms, solar panels, and a lot of other undisclosed causes, including financing dictators. You see, climate scientism is not about the climate. It is about wealth redistribution. It is about taking tax payer money and throwing it around (no doubt for a cut). Those involved will defend their actions: “The science made me do it.”

Scientism is readily used by manmade gods who believe they have esoteric knowledge to commandeer reality, and therefore human life and property, for their clever ideas.

Scientism accepts that evolution’s “survival of the fittest” explains the struggle for individuals and societies and that it explains all phenomena of the physical world and man’s agency politically, economically, psychologically and socially. Central planning attempts to direct “the struggle” with scientism-endorsed ideology.
Yes, scientism – “the opinion that science and the scientific method are the best or only way to render truth about the world and reality” – turns out to be the explanation for treating human beings as lab rats in social engineering projects. Scientism’s mutations of Darwin’s “survival of the fittest” led to eugenics, sterilizations, and exterminations in the past. Scientism’s manmade gods will lead us down the same paths.
Science and the scientific method in the hands of a few who are linked to globalism (WEF, WHO) and linked to the medical-industrial complex, the pharmaceutical-industrial complex, the climate-industrial complex, and the bio-industrial complex will bring about the “Great Reset” thereby altering the human race and the landscape with its “truth about the world and reality”. And they will say in their defense “The science made me do it.”
Nuclear power is a carbon-free and a safe energy source. Do you hear it promoted by climate-change activists? Consider that in order to use renewable energy to power the United States with all of the EVs being proposed, that about half the land area of the U.S. would need to be covered with solar panels, wind farms and electric grids. (The Sierra Club would love that! Not!) Nuclear plants take up small land areas and supply vast amounts of energy. See France’s nuclear program, for example.
Nuclear power can certainly arrest manmade climate change while producing huge amounts of reliable electricity. But it seems that scientism’s climate change gurus do not want the problem solved. Maybe, they want to revise the world to their liking using the climate change/renewable energy scam. Maybe they want the Great Reset to be scientism’s answer to all things.
“A non-profit organization called the Climate Emergency Fund (CEF) boasts that their mission is to “raise funds for and make grants to the disruptive nonviolent climate movement.” This effort has been extraordinarily successful.
In 2022 alone, they gave away $5.1 million to 44 “ultra-ambitious” groups. Many of these groups are in the business of illegal vandalism, and some are most definitely not “non-violent”.”

Over many months now, during my morning contemplative walks in a local park, I have encountered objets d’déclin. Mother Earth needed tattoos to be in vogue.
A gaggle of local apparatchiks of post-modern persuasion decided at some point that nature’s exhilarating beauty-a body of narrative to be read over and to reflect on-should be forever ‘inked’ with the flippant constructionism of various ‘artists’.
The local approvers and inciters of inhuman aesthetics have ‘carnivalized’ a local nature preserve, a park and a paradise infused with wildflowers along a river, where, along such “springs in the valleys” (Psalm 104) “The birds of the sky nest by the waters; they sing among the branches.” No matter, though. By so doing, the self-appointed culture-mongers can connote their relevance and earn self-aggrandizement brownie points with the community.

Good. I’ve brought you back in time to grade school and to poem recitals mumbled and fumbled on a small wooden stage festooned with branches, hot klieg lights, coaching teachers and anxious whispering parents ready to breastfeed sweet flowing praise into their little sapling.
Saturday, in beastly 90 degree Northern Illinois late summer heat, I decided to trek once more through my childhood and teenage and adulthood forest. I call it “my forest” because I like to think of it as “my Illinois” before “they paved paradise and put up a parking lot.”
Start the music: As I walked through the “most ancient of conditions” those formative memories of my youth, Joni’s song resounded in some distant glen, somewhere within the silent swish of stately trees and near the stealing bases Blue jays and close to the ever-present droning life support system of the Illinois Toll Way.
A “tree museum”? Now I have to rest from my labors and ponder: after all the recitals and all of the seasons of my life, does my life’s mustard tree end up in the same place as it has for these trees-in a tree museum?
One good thing: it is clear to me that when I die I am recycled. You know, dust to dust, ashes to ashes. But this parking lot to parking lot stuff has got to stop. A bittersweet experience, this “tree museum” business is, on Labor Day weekend.
Encompassing the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois is industry and business of mankind’s doing. I expect that. I just didn’t want all that.
I want Illinois, Northern Illinois back. I want “The Prairie State” back.
So, I came. I saw trees and tall grass. I smelled musty earth and cedar mulch and the decay of rotten wood. I sweated profusely to feel alive once more within the epiphany of nature.

Consider the following IMF missions of self-made victimization:
Social media participants as victims: every moment of one’s-no depth of field life must become selfie-important.
After the damage is done to reputations it necessarily follows, in this day of dispositive scapegoating, that we then must present ourselves as victims even when we are victims of our own devices. Who would ever look at Jennifer Lawrence’s collection of nude pictures? I mean, the world is so….out there.
Victims of circumstance or of circus stance on the high wire of notoriety?
Illegal immigrants as victims: here we see bus loads of victims moving in. Yet, we must remember that these victims are the renewable energy source for Progressive votes. And this, despite the fact that any lack of border control, any lax enforcement by the Obama administration, any amnesty that adds more illegal immigrants to our country equals with other detriments more CO2, more crime, more narcotics, more narco-terrorists, more infectious disease, more gang members, more homeland terrorism and a huge drain on our national resources. But damn it, “victims” they must be for our purposes. We are America, the land of the free from taxation for half the nation and the home of the Black Panther monitored ballot box.
Environment as victim and victimizer: Well, by now you should have come to your senses and have realized that global warming crisis is man-made. It has been manufactured by the likes of Al Gore and climate scientologists with dubious reports. These ‘scientologists’ or data shufflers dare not cross the red line of truth and lose their collegial credit card status points, their weather stations for life.
Not only is the environment a victim but just like a Russian nesting doll you, too, can become a victim-of the environment. And, universal victim hood makes each of us eligible to be “insured” under the UN One World global warming whole life redistribution insurance plan. Benefits accrue to those who want to become wealthy off of other’s fears.
Voter as victim: From the well-known Legal Insurrection blog, a post of Oct. 10th, 2014: “Judge tosses out Texas voter ID as U.S. Supreme Court blocks Wisconsin voter ID The ruling by the U.S. District court finds that such law…creates an unconstitutional burden on the right to vote, has an impermissible discriminatory effect against Hispanics and African-Americans.”
This ruling by both courts is slap in the face for blacks and Hispanics. It essentially claims that blacks and Hispanics and too stupid, too inept to get an ID and to provide such ID at a polling place. To put it another way, there are millions of people who can secure a proper ID and present it at the time of voting. I am sure that Dr. Ben Carson, a self-made African-American neurosurgeon, can provide a proper ID. He would also help you figure out what to do.
Ask yourself: How do blacks and Hispanics acquire cable TV when they do not have ID?
Politically biased, blindfold taken off high courts have affirmed blacks and Hispanics as victims-a protected class of victims-so as to garner the un-ID’d ‘victim’s’ weight in votes-for the Progressive side of the scale, of course. Preferential treatment by the courts makes the rest of us truly victims of injustice. Preferential treatment by Progressive bureaucratic Lois Lerner types within our current heavily politicized government negates Democracy in favor of totalitarianism. The Tea Party non-profit groups became true victims of injustice with the administration’s silent approbation.
The poor as victims: Here is what we are told by the supercilious politicians and Keynesian economists (NYT’s Paul Krugam, Thomas Piketty, et al) : “There are poor people because there are rich people. The global wealth pie is a one fixed-size feeds all pie. The rich have the larger share. Redistribution is the only answer-it is socially just.”
It doesn’t matter to the above mentioned wisdom impoverished that the rich have made personal choices that create wealth or that the poor have most often made personal choices which have made them poor and keep them poor. And, somehow, the poor find a way (trading food stamps for cash or bit coins online, for instance) to buy lottery tickets, to gamble in Vegas and to buy enormous HDTVs so they can watch “The Real Housewives of Orange County!”
Our government enables the self-victimization of the poor. Obama and slave master Progressives have created cradle to grave dependency on government. The “Julia” website is a first hand account about a lifeless victim of gargantuan government gone wild.
Fiscal and monetary policies-The New Deal, The Great Society, the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), TARP, the FED’s tinkering to create artificially low interest rates, ETC.- direct money away from savings and investment, capital that would ultimately create jobs and individual wealth.
Each one of these government ‘fixits’ creates bubbles that ultimately burst. There should be a History Channel just for this. First came the dot com bubble and then the housing bubble. And, most home buyers are now government subsidized. Uh-oh!
Printing money creates ever more debt and puffs up the economy with lighter than air dollars.
Our government is creating an even greater balloon (Let’s call it the “Keynesian Economic Balloon”) that will soon go bust “Big Time”, as Peter Gabriel sang. Then your dollars will be almost worthless. The IMF endorses such politically ‘safe’ and economically disastrous inane activity. Just don’t get caught holding USD.
That 47 MILLION people are on food stamps tells me that government enables poverty in our nation. And there are even ‘victims’ who complain that 99 weeks of unemployment benefits isn’t enough! Use your head and your ID and vote for people with integrity, character and business sense, avoiding lethargic professorial panty waists unless, of course, you should choose the mission of self-made victimization.
Addicts as victims: Consider this recent “addiction help” advertisement heard on the radio: “Addiction is a disease, not a character flaw.”
Whoa! Calling an addiction a disease takes the onus off of the addicted, removing them from the light of day and placing them under the dark cloud of victim hood where the sun doesn’t shine on your addled behavior.
And, it most certainly as advertised, places the addicted under the expensive ‘guidance’ of medical professionals who will’ ‘altruistically’ be your savior. “Victim status is where you belong, why try to fight it. Give us the money that you are now giving to pay for your addiction. Character flaws mean personal responsibility and they may not result in insurance payments to our treatment facility.”
Homosexuals as victims: Where to begin? When acting out homosexual desires you are told that you are not responsible for your behavior. Rather, what you are dealing with is a quirk, a queerness that exists in the universe. Homosexuals do not even try to overcome your desires and use self control. You will become sexual minority stressed. God knows that you have enough to worry about when you do unnatural things to your self and to others. AIDS is our problem, not yours. You are sexual minority stressed transmitters and no more.
The Politically Correct as victims: it is not easy being totalitarian all the time but the Politically Correct, the language police, must enforce ‘safe’ societal boundaries or bubbles where nothing offensive to their delicate yet ‘diverse’ palettes enters the void. Truly they are victims of their own demands.
One more IMF mission out of dozens of putative instances:
Civil Rights victims: The omniscient and all powerful Oz, Eric Holder, and his Race Swami-Tsunami spiritual advisor the ‘reverend’ Al Sharpton have made sure by their appearances that the citizens of Ferguson, MO-the black citizens-received their fair share of victim status. They both spread their special mixture of racial rat poison and silent approbation, disguised as legal fertilizer, on the community lawns of Ferguson, Mo.
Weeds of lawlessness now spring up daily in Ferguson, Mo. The encroaching and choking weeds are growing in place of flourishing businesses and a thriving community.

The Science Made Me Do It.

A short time ago I came upon a social media post by someone with an “atheist” handle. He put out an unexpected terse comment in a thread about space science. It was meant to mock Christians: “Christians pray to man-made gods”. So, I responded.
His defense of such a claim and against the scientific claims I had made toward evidence of a creator, which included fine-tuning and the anthropic principle, was based on quotes from his man-made gods: Neil deGrasse Tyson and Sam Harris. He ended our back and forth with a dismissive comment.
I relate this to show that scientism – “the opinion that science and the scientific method are the best or only way to render truth about the world and reality” (Wikipedia) – has become the defense strategy in cosmic trials deciding “What is true and who says so”. A recent cosmic trial involving the COVID, nee influenza, pandemic, saw the scientism strategy used to defend the criminal takeover of humanity with its appropriation of “What is true and who says so”.
A man who declared “I am the science” – Anthony Fauci – was the star witness for the defense. On the stand Fauci said “The science” was behind everything he said and did. And that’s why he was “calling the shots” about how COVID should be handled. And though substantive claims had been brought against the “The science” triggering a trial, unprecedented action by the court prohibited witnesses for the other side to take the stand to support their claims.
Extensive amounts of scientific evidence to the contrary had been blocked from the trial, including the Great Barrington Declaration. Key plaintiff witnesses, including medical doctors and pathologists, who would testify against the claims of “The Science” were threatened with loss of licensure and censored. Outside the courtroom they were labeled “science deniers’ and “conspiracy theorists”.
The jury wasn’t sequestered. Its members watched the mainstream media where COVID was presented 24/7 as a public health crisis and “The science” as the world’s savior. They heard that obeying “The Science” would lead to “flattening the curve”, “ending lockdowns”, and its vaccine would “stop COVID in its tracks”. Under that influence and the fear of the same repercussions the key plaintiff witnesses suffered, the jury ruled in favor of Fauci’s “The science made me do it.” They ok’d a power grab by the local, state, and federal government and the CDC, NIH, and Big Pharma.
As a result, people were told what to do with their bodies, their relationships, their social activity, their businesses, and their churches. And they were told, in essence, that science and the scientific method, in the hands of a select few, was the best or only way to render truth about the world and reality. As a result of that, power and wealth accrued for the winners of scientism’s trial.
Is there a “Climate Change Crisis” is the next cosmic trial and the outcome has already been rigged in favor of science and the scientific method in the hands of a few. Expert witness testimony opposed to the defense’s “Climate Change Crisis” propositions will not be given a hearing. The media is on the payroll of “Climate Change Crisis” defense team.
The truth about the world and reality is being altered with opposing testimony being censured and the promotion of a climate change “consensus”, a consensus that is based on crystal ball climate models generating position papers often paid for with grants that expect a certain outcome if more money is to flow. And though TV meteorologists forecast weather only 5 or 7 or 10 days out, climate activists predict apocalyptic events in terms of years. Reality is being altered with an environmental version of the Late Great Planet Earth.
With a looming “catastrophe” on the horizon, the climate cult has been hard at work making climate converts – young people who will catastrophize about a climate crisis.
Getting young people to catastrophize about man-made climate change will motivate more money changing hands for wind farms, solar panels, and a lot of other undisclosed causes, including financing dictators. You see, climate scientism is not about the climate. It is about wealth redistribution. It is about taking tax payer money and throwing it around (no doubt for a cut). Those involved will defend their actions: “The science made me do it.”
And . . .
Scientism, a God-free worldview, has no moral constraint. It is not even constrained by the scientific method. It is more in line with Gnosticism:

Scientism is readily used by manmade gods who believe they have esoteric knowledge to commandeer reality, and therefore human life and property, for their clever ideas.

Scientism accepts that evolution’s “survival of the fittest” explains the struggle for individuals and societies and that it explains all phenomena of the physical world and man’s agency politically, economically, psychologically and socially. Central planning attempts to direct “the struggle” with scientism-endorsed ideology.
Yes, scientism – “the opinion that science and the scientific method are the best or only way to render truth about the world and reality” – turns out to be the explanation for treating human beings as lab rats in social engineering projects. Scientism’s mutations of Darwin’s “survival of the fittest” led to eugenics, sterilizations, and exterminations in the past. Scientism’s manmade gods will lead us down the same paths.
Science and the scientific method in the hands of a few who are linked to globalism (WEF, WHO) and linked to the medical-industrial complex, the pharmaceutical-industrial complex, the climate-industrial complex, and the bio-industrial complex will bring about the “Great Reset” thereby altering the human race and the landscape with its “truth about the world and reality”. And they will say in their defense “The science made me do it.”

Nuclear power is a carbon-free and a safe energy source. Do you hear it promoted by climate-change activists? Consider that in order to use renewable energy to power the United States with all of the EVs being proposed, that about half the land area of the U.S. would need to be covered with solar panels, wind farms and electric grids. (The Sierra Club would love that! Not!) Nuclear plants take up small land areas and supply vast amounts of energy. See France’s nuclear program, for example.
Nuclear power can certainly arrest manmade climate change while producing huge amounts of reliable electricity. But it seems that scientism’s climate change gurus do not want the problem solved.
