I don’t know the motive of these moralizing gurus other than they want to “reclaim Christianity from right-wing extremism” or some such thing such thing. (David French, who has an extreme case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, says he wants to pry away the conservative movement from a deranged man [Trump]. That’s why he’s all in on the radical Leftist Kamala-Walz duo – to save conservatism from itself.)
Is there mal-intent by these evangelists of the Left, these missionaries of Progressivism – for Progressivism is a political religion? Maybe not. They likely have turned their eyes and ears away from reality to follow Wide Way myths – contrived notions of right and wrong. Some have become paid influencers who find ways of being in the spotlights of media’s Great White Way. In any case, they have become disciples of Mao and the Left.

They’ll start by talking about wanting to unite Christians in a better way of love and then they’ll criticize in Saul Alinsky-like fashion. You’ve heard the ad hominems: “deplorables” “bitter clingers” “extremists” “conspiracy theorists” “homophobes” “xenophobes”, “authoritarians”, “fascists”, “threats to Evangelicalism” AND “DEMOCRACY!” and the latest put-down: “they’re weird.”

They ridicule “Christian Nationalists” as being backward reactionaries and project a threat to Democracy on to them. And it’s no wonder: would-be dictators, Marxists, fascists, autocrats, and MSNBC use the word “Democracy” the most. It’s used by them in a bait and switch scheme.
These “purveyors of Democracy” offer to sell “Democracy”, which they do not actually intend to sell. This is “the bait.” They switch customers from buying the advertised “Democracy” that the seller initially offered into buying a different product or service that is usually at a higher price (loss of freedom including free speech – vox populi – and therefore Democracy!) and has advantageous effect to the advertiser (dictatorship). This is the “switch.”
From a Marxist perspective, the Left wants to subvert the nation-state and nationalism. Marxists think that the Proletarians who embrace nationalism do so out of false consciousness. The working class should therefore abandon their parochial worldview and understand that their struggles against the bourgeoisie, the means of production and capitalism, transcend national boundaries. Nationality would disappear as people come to identify by class instead. So goes Bolshevik theory. The working class has no homeland!

It seems to me that all such groups like Evangelicals for Harris see themselves as freed up thinkers and Rousseauian in the sense that they feel good about themselves and what they do for they think they are morally good apart from any outside reference except for their tribe. And more so.
They believe that the “politically correct” views they hold would create a perfectly unified democracy. And so, they ply Evangelicals to transfer allegiance from what they hold to be true to what they say is true. As such, they reveal themselves to be the prophets of “totalitarian democracy” – the majority living under the tyranny (“unity”) of a one absolute and perfect political truth.
By any measure – facts, science, Scripture, common sense, and the common good – groups such as Evangelicals for Harris are at war with reality. And, it’s no wonder. They are the products and facilitators of the struggle session known as The 2024 Project.

Evangelicals for Harris, formerly Evangelicals for Biden, is a project of Faith Voters, a 501(c)4 organization. It is a group claiming to represent evangelicals who are voting and advocating for Harris-Walz.
Apparently, they are running interference for Harris-Walz while seeking to downplay their radical agenda on issues like the economy, race, climate change, open borders, abortion entrenchment and expansion, LGBTQ promotion, destroying the nuclear family, and trans-ing the children – all in the name of Evangelicalism.
Even Billy Graham’s granddaughter has joined Evangelicals for Harris: ‘Voting Kamala, for me, is so much greater than policies.’ Apparently, wisdom need not be applied to issues beyond her wrinkled nose. The country can go to hell so long as Trump is not elected. A Faustian bargain, indeed.
A recent Evangelicals for Harris Zoom event was hosted by an activist who has a long history of bashing “Whiteness” and calling for the destruction of police departments.
Ekemini Uwan hosted the Zoom call, one of many identity-based online Zoom meetings in support of the new Democratic Party nominee that have sparked controversy.
Uwan describes herself on her website as a “reparations activist whose work spans the globe, as she has advocated for global reparations on behalf of Africans and African Descendants on the floor of the United Nations three times.”
Uwan spoke at Sparrow Conference 2019 where she gave “a historical, sociological, political, theological and gospel-saturated clinic on racial identity.” At that conference, she said we have to talk about what whiteness is:

I’ve been reading a lot of realist fiction lately but I can’t ignore the grim reality of the hatred directed at Americans by the Left. This hatred is manifested with tactics no different than the “irregular warfare” used by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to impose its will:
Elsa Kania, an adjunct fellow with the Technology and National Security Program at the Center for a New American Security writes in a 2016 China Brief article about The PLA’s Latest Strategic Thinking on the Three Warfares. She says that “the application of the three warfares is intended to control the prevailing discourse and influence perceptions in a way that advances China’s interests, while compromising the capability of opponents to respond.”
She goes on to describe the three non-kinetic warfares and their functions:

The [2015 National Defense University (NDU) SMS] provides an overview of public opinion warfare, psychological warfare, and legal warfare and guidance regarding their implementation. According to the text, public opinion warfare involves using public opinion as a weapon by propagandizing through various forms of media in order to weaken the adversary’s “will to fight” (战斗意志), while ensuring strength of will and unity among civilian and military views on one’s own side. These tactics look very familiar. “Irregular warfare”, employed with aggression and deceit (“Force and fraud are the cardinal virtues of war.” –Hobbes), are at work in the Left’s attack on Americans. We are all well aware of one assault close to home.
During COVID (the spread of the China virus) we were subjected to the coordinated force of propaganda to influence and control public opinion. There was propagandizing through various forms of media in order to weaken the adversary’s “will to fight” against what we were told to believe.
There was also the psychological balkanizing that divided the nation into those who “follow the science” and “science deniers” and the “vaxxed” and “anti-vax”.
And there was the legal warfare of COVID mandates that put people in jail or quarantines and closed churches and businesses and put people out of work if not vaxxed. All done to delegitimize an adversary to what we were told to obey.
We were subjected to coordinated fraud in the messaging about the (flu-like) virus’ transmission and effects and the effectiveness of the COVID vaccine and the efficacy of Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin. Multiple doctors and epidemiologists who spoke out against the narrative were silenced in the media and elsewhere. Force was used to stifle criticism and to co-opt and neutralize sources of potential opposition to “the science” and the purveyors of “the science”, the Left’s medical-pharmaceutical industrial complex (Anthony Fauci, Francis Collins, CDC, NIH, big pharma et al.).
Each of the Left’s three warfares employed during COVID operated in the “perceptual domain and relied upon [the control of] information for its effectiveness.”
We continue to be subjected to the Left’s three-fold attack with the “force and fraud” climate crisis narrative. Public opinion is being swayed by climate crisis propaganda: “We need to act now to avoid catastrophe.” “Irregular warfare” is being used against fossil fuels, LNG, agriculture, and anyone who opposes the Left’s narrative.
The fact that nuclear power, a carbon-free and a safe energy source that can produce huge amounts of reliable electricity, is not mentioned by the Left should be an indicator that climate is not an issue – controlling you is. (There is no climate crisis. See video below.)
We continue to be subjected to the Left’s “irregular warfare” with its fraudulent narrative of Trump as a threat to “Democracy”. The apoplectic Left, desiring to influence and control public opinion, wants to put the fear of Trump into their viewers and readers. The want viewers and readers to hate Trump.
The psychological warfare element of this attack includes exacerbating internal disputes to cause the enemy – the Right – to divide into factions. Hence, the Left will showcase never -Trumpers like David French to speak against Trump.
The third element of the Left’s threefold “irregular warfare” is used to “delegitimize an adversary.” This is the reason for the lawfare being waged against Donald Trump. The Left is desperate. They have tried unsuccessfully to keep him off the ballot. They have sought to disqualify him. They are seeking to bankrupt him. The Left will use any means necessary to take down Trump through “legal warfare.”
“It’s becoming increasingly difficult to deny that we have a legal system now that is being heavily distorted by politics and you cannot look at all of these cases and see blind justice, you see the opposite,” Turley told Fox Business host Larry Kudlow, a former Trump administration official. “You see a justice that is being weaponized, and in many ways the Democrats fulfill the narrative of President Trump. He is now right. No matter what they thought about it at the beginning, they proved him to be right with this pile-on from Florida to Georgia, to Washington, D.C., to New York and most of the public gets it.”
The Left’s MSNBC and CNN and the NYT and WaPo and other media outlets of their ilk are so afraid that Trump will win in November that they are pulling out all the stops. They accuse Trump of promoting a lie (the stolen 2020 election) and calling illegals “animals” (Trump was talking about the murderer of Laken Riley). They will 24/7 you with “Trump is a threat to Democracy and our way of life. We will all become victims if Trump is elected (and blah blah blah).”
We continue to be subjected to the Left’s public opinion influence and psychological warfare via its constant fear-mongering. The Left conjures up end-of-the-world narratives, whether of COVID, climate, Trump or of people who don’t buy what they are selling.
Those who are taken in by Left don’t understand that they are targets of two elements of “irregular warfare”: influence of public opinion and psychological warfare. One reason they buy in is that the legal warfare component is directed at Trump and anyone connected with him. Another reason may be how they feel about the Left’s talking points: “I love the way you lie.”
A key component of the Left’s warfare against Americans is balkanization. The Left seeks to divide us into warring factions. There are those in the media who delight in dividing us rather than uniting us. They live for this. It is how they gain their power, their influence and their money. It is how they destroy America. As Jesus knew to be true, “if a kingdom is divided in two it can’t last.”
And so it is that the above media outlets present authors who foster division by writing that white Americans and Christian Nationalists (whatever they are) are a dangerous threat to “Democracy!”
The Left, to “delegitimize an adversary”, wants to put the fear of whites and of Christians who love their country into their viewers and readers – as if hating them along with Trump was a necessary condition for protecting “Democracy!”
Progressive Wallis was on MSNBC promoting his platitudes and inviting all who can be persuaded to reject and help dismantle a false gospel that propagates white supremacy and autocracy . . . and Christian Nationalism (whatever that is)
One Amazon commenter on White Rural Rage wrote something that applies to both books: “This book helps to explain the startling divide in America by showing just how profoundly uninterested such people are in understanding or accepting the views of anyone who does not accord with their own orthodoxy and must therefore be dismissed as anti-democratic.”
Waldman and Schaller portray rural people as passive, unthinking agents in the democratic process. Though “rage” features prominently in their title, they use the word fewer than ten times in the text, and only to belabor their claim that Republican leaders intentionally manufactured rural voters’ anger, as though these Americans would not be concerned about their situations without external manipulation.
“In an interview on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, [author Tom] Schaller gave this unvarnished assessment of the rage he sees overflowing in the heartland. Rural whites, he said, are “the most racist, xenophobic, anti-immigrant, anti-gay geo-demographic group in the country.” He called them, “the most conspiracist group,” “anti-democratic,” “white nationalist and white Christian nationalists.” On top of that, rural whites are also “most likely to excuse or justify violence as an acceptable alternative to peaceful public discourse . . .
“But the thing about rage — I’ve never found it.
“The problem with this “rage” thesis is much larger than the fact that my research, and that of others, is being misinterpreted and misunderstood. What the authors are getting wrong about rural America is exactly what many Democrats have been getting wrong for decades — and appear to be doing so again in this critical presidential election year.”
The following is my response to the red meat those authors threw to the ravenous Left:
When spoken of from the High Chairs of Hubris and Condescension, those of us who love God and our family and our country and not what proceeds from the mouths of the elites are not just called “bitter clingers” and “deplorable”. We are called “extremists.” We are called every name in the Left’s style book. And therefore, more force and fraud are needed to be applied. Hence the shaming books of the fellow traveler intelligentsia.
One would think that loving God, loving your family and loving your country would be all good. But the Left hates all that. Leftist elites love themselves and the sound of their condescension.
How far will the Left go? Students of history know. History tells us that the Left will use any means necessary, including injustice, famine, show trials, gulags, and murder to get their way. How far did the Left go this week?

“It was a patriotic, joyful time to be around so many people who love their country,” she said. “I felt a strong presence of the spirt of God fall over me, and I started crying.”
At one point, she took the microphone to speak about a document that became known as the 1620 Mayflower Compact. Included in the agreement that pilgrims had signed before they set foot on American soil was that the country would be dedicated to the glory of God and advancement of the Christian faith.
“My mission in life is to know God and make his ways known and restore the country back to its godly foundation,” Lavrenz said. “Without God, there’s no justice.”
This post is meant to alert you to the Left’s three-pronged warfare directed at Americans. There is more that could be said, but there is enough here, I believe, for the reader to understand the hatred directed at us.
I haven’t even mentioned the Biden inflation and the cost of living or how hard it will be for our children to buy a house and property because of the human-hating financial policies of the Left.
I haven’t even mentioned that the Biden regime’s human-hating open border policy will drive wages down for minorities and put Americans out of work. It is a policy that allows in deadly fentanyl and deadly gangs and deadly terrorists and deadly diseases to kill people. You won’t hear or see any of this from Rachel Maddow. All you’ll hear from her is “orange man bad.”

I see the Left – its hatred and evil schemes – depicted in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy. Having control and imposing its will are essential to the Left, as in the story. Violence, mental and physical, are their means.
In the novels Dr. Peter Teleborian is the psychiatrist at St. Stefan’s Psychiatric Clinic for Children. Teleborian is a sadist who abuses his patients.
The child Lisbeth Salander was committed to St. Stefan’s after she tried to kill her evil father for beating and raping her mother. While in the clinic Teleborian kept Lisbeth strapped down each night for over a year and tried to force feed her psychiatric drugs. Salander later described him as the most evil man she ever met.
Lisbeth is later released from the clinic and put under guardianship. Her guardian suffers a heart attack and she is given another legal guardian – Nils Bjurman.
At their second meeting Bjurman informs Salander that she has to give over access to all of her bank accounts. Her first guardian Palmgren allowed her to control her own finances but Bjurman wants to control every aspect of her life.
Bjurman, to prove who’s in charge, molests her and forces her to pleasure him sexually. Because of her previous problems with the police, Lisbeth decides to take matters into her own hands. At their next meeting, she comes prepared with a hidden video camera. But, to her horror and dismay, she realizes she has misjudged Bjurman; he attacks and brutally rapes her.
Then The Section, an ultra-secret division of the government that reports to no one, tries to have Lisbeth recommitted to Dr. Teleborian’s clinic. This was to be done to protect the members of The Section. Dr. Teleborian is assigned by The Section to write a false report about Lisbeth Salander.
The Section harbored and protected the evil Zalachenko, ex-Russian spy who defected to Sweden. Alexander Zalachenko is Lisbeth’s abusive father.
We later learn that Dr. Teleborian kept thousands of child porn photos on his laptop. He is arrested during Lisbeth’s trial.
Looking at the nature of the people on the Left and their way of doing things with the caveat “for your own good”, it is easy for me to see similarities to the evil characters above.

Lindsay begins by describing wokeism and its philosophical roots. We then learn from the other panelists about the weaponization of Critical Race Theory and about the machinery that’s built up in our government to continue the woke programs. Government employees, fearing for their jobs, obey the mandates of compelled speech. I was recently made aware of one such example:

Codified “Woke”
Every social institution has been affected by “Wokeism. A handful of 60s and 70s laws have reached into our legal system, our education systems, and our corporations like invasive weeds. Legislative outgrowths have had their effect on the landscape of human resources and admissions. Institutional wokeness has made space for some groups and some thought while choking off all others.
Christopher Caldwell, a senior fellow at the Claremont Institute, wrote in his 2020 book “The Age of Entitlement: America Since the Sixties”, that The Civil Rights Act of 1964 became a “rival Constitution”, incompatible with the original one. It “emboldened and incentivized bureaucrats, lawyers, intellectuals, and political agitators to become the ‘eyes and ears,’ and even the foot soldiers, of civil rights enforcement.”
“Over time,” Caldwell noted, “more of the country’s institutions were brought under the act’s scrutiny. Eventually all of them were.”
In The New Criterion’s October 2023 issue, editor Roger Kimball, Introducing “The new conservative dilemma: a symposium” with The abnormal as the new normal, references the above legal history and comments about the situation we find ourselves in:
“The hypertrophy of the Civil Rights Act did not take place in a vacuum. Its progress was directed by the essentially Marxist ambitions of those radicals who plotted the “long march through the institutions” of the 1960s and beyond. . .

What Happened to Woke?
“Stay woke, keep your eyes open” was an early call for Black people to be aware of deceitful practices and prejudiced people and to be awake to racial and social injustice. We all should “Stay woke” and keep our eyes open to see human rights injustice and to fight it.
“. . . across a broad range of political beliefs, one recurring theme is that “wokeness” has demonstrable social, even quasi-religious, power. The writer James Lindsay has argued exhaustively that “wokeness” is essentially a religion where faith in social justice ideology stands in for belief in a deity, and that regular attendance at social justice protests has replaced the role of religious rituals for many progressives.”
Woke fundamentalist thinking thrives across the political spectrum. Monologues of shouting and abuse emanate from those who are certain that they can’t be wrong, that truth and justice are all on their side, and that there is nothing to learn from their opponents, who must be evil or deluded.
Woke fundamentalist thinking, which demands policing of speech and opinion, is antithetical to the open-mindedness and readiness to compromise that animate democracy. Woke Is the Handmaiden of Totalitarianism claims Thorsteinn Siglaugsson.
There’s a lot to take into account regarding the current state of Wokeness:
Consider, says Siglaugsson, that “One of the key characteristics of woke ideology is its utter disregard for reason; for rational thinking, and we see this perhaps most explicitly in the absurdities in the narrative around Covid-19. To the woke, all that matters is their own personal perception, subjective experience.”
Consider that intellectually bankrupt ideas have achieved acceptance in our culture. Truth, abandoned for Woke fundamentalist thinking, has taken on the postmodern understanding of the politics of power.
Consider that Woke conflict theory—separating the world into oppressor-versus-oppressed classes— with zero-sum conflict, offers no ability to agree or understand one another.
Consider that the Woke are antagonistic as everything is understood in terms of conflict: oppressor vs. oppressed power plays. The Woke, thereby, fragment culture as every relationship becomes transactional. “If I don’t get what I want you’re racist and I’m outta here.”
Consider that the Woke self is incoherent and contradictory as it is based on internal feelings. “What’s in here is more important than what’s out there.”
Consider that the Woke won’t let anyone speak into their lives. As such, there is no accountability and therefore no need for repentance, forgiveness, and redemption. There is no need to be reconciled with others and with truth.
Consider that in Woke thinking there are good and bad people. In Christian thinking there is good and bad in each one of us.
Consider that the Woke self is extremely fragile and needs constant affirmation. In the current culture, having power over others is seen as affirmation.
Consider that the Woke self is illusion, its outworking a virtue-signaling performance.
Consider that many on the job are undergoing critical theory consciousness-raising struggle sessions forcing a disconnect from reality and causing anxiety and depression, and, perhaps, suicide.
Consider that many on the job are undergoing Woke diversity training, e.g., being compelled to use preferred pronouns, even though compelling pronouns and worldviews are First Amendment violations.
Consider that our children are being taught, by the Woke, that the country they live in is racist and that all white people are racist.
Consider that Woke school boards and librarians want to place deviant pornographic material in the hands of our children.
Consider that the Woke advocate for pediatric sex changes.
Consider that the “egalitarian” Woke locked down schools for COVID, disproportionally affecting black and brown kids.
Consider that the “oppressor vs. oppressed” Woke support Islamist terrorist regimes.
Consider that the nonsensical Woke mock big business and worship Big Pharma.
Consider that there is something mentally off in the Woke push to defund the police, in eliminating bail, and in releasing violent offenders back into the public to await trial – all done under the rubric of oppressor-versus-oppressed ideology.
Consider that there is something mentally off in listening to climate alarmists and their insane and unscientific push for “Net Zero” emissions, an Eco-Woke version of the oppressor (mankind, fossil fuels) versus oppressed (earth) ideology.

Dozens of U.S. states are suing Meta Platforms (META.O) and its Instagram unit, accusing them of fueling a youth mental health crisis by making their social media platforms addictive.
In a complaint filed on Tuesday, the attorneys general of 33 states including California and New York said Meta, which also operates Facebook, repeatedly misled the public about the dangers of its platforms, and knowingly induced young children and teenagers into addictive and compulsive social media use.

If you have watched “Project Runway” then you’ve seen a small elite group of fashionistas evaluating who’s in and who’s out based on which design and designer aligns with their values. A runway is used to showcase contestant’s designs, designs created within a strict set of rules and with a limited budget and time. When I recently reviewed environmental, social, and governance (ESG) scoring, the above saying and Lifetime’s design competition came to mind – as Project ESG.
Project ESG contestants are scored by select groups as to whether their organization operates within a strict set of guidelines that align with their values. Project ESG also has runways: main street and financial statements.
“Project Runway” contestants are scored based on their creative flair, good structuring, demonstrating diversity in design skills, and the sustainability of their designs -conforming to, attuned to, or characterized by the latest trends in fashion.
How Project ESG Contestants are Scored
“Environmental, social, and governance, or ESG, is a type of financial investing where factors beyond financial considerations are considered. Companies are scored by fund managers based on varying, and undefined factors.
The environmental perspective includes anything that contributes to carbon emissions and climate change, such as energy, water, and waste management, ventilation/air quality, materials sourcing and management, and supply chain management.
The social perspective addresses the relationships and reputation a company has with its stakeholders, such as employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, health and safety, human rights and community relations, and labor practices.
The governance perspective is the internal system of practices, controls, and procedures that a company uses to govern/manage itself, such as business model resilience, risk management, legal and regulatory compliance, due diligence, and meeting external stakeholders’ needs.”
“A credit score communicates a consumer’s ability to pay back debt. A bond rating provides context for an issuer’s ability to meet financial commitments and avoid default. Similarly, an ESG risk score gauges a company’s performance on ESG issues and exposure to ESG-related risks. They are calculated against a set of ESG metrics and may be expressed on a number scale or through a letter ranking system. . . (Emphasis mine.)
ESG contestants are scored on ESG issues which span everything from cybersecurity to climate change to diversity, equity, and inclusion . . .
Organizations with a good ESG score are thought to be better equipped to anticipate future risks and opportunities, more inclined to longer-term strategic thinking and to prioritize long-term value creation over short-term gains. As such, the consequences of a substandard score can be momentous.”

Project ESG Scorekeepers
An industry of ESG “raters” has sprung up to rate companies’ Project ESG bona fides.
“Producers of ESG scores are varied, just as the types of ESG scores are. Nevertheless, we can categorize them based on the nature of their organization:
-NGOs. Carbon Disclosure Project is an example of an NGO that produces ESG scores.
-Financial services firms. Bloomberg, MSCI, FTSE Russell and S&P Global are examples of financial services firms that publish ESG scores.
Companies have also started producing ESG scorecards for themselves.”

“The plummeting sales for Anheuser-Busch and the roughly $10 billion hit to Target’s market cap in over a week weren’t enough to dissuade Kohl’s from fulfilling its environmental, social and governance (ESG) score goals.”
As mentioned above, Project ESG scoring occurs when the contestant’s designs walk the runway. Showcasing LGBTQ+ deisgns on the main street runway is one in-your-face way to improve a Project ESG score. The bulk of Project ESG’s points, located on financial statements, are noticed by accountants and the suppliers of capital, loans and credit lines, i.e., Big Banks.
If you offer your company’s stock publicly you are impacted by accounting standards. The SEC directs that your financial statements reflect ESG disclosures to investors and the capital markets, including climate-related disclosures of climate risks among other risks.
Propelled by the planetary emergency and the drive for transparency, global sustainability reporting standards and ESG disclosure regulations are coming. Boards and C-suites should prepare now, and could find new opportunities to create value.
Why oppose Project ESG when environmentalism, climate change, and social justice are some of the criteria on which a judgment can be made on a corporation contestant?
Why oppose Project ESG when it’s said to foster in its contestants an increasing focus on corporate purpose, accountability and operational resilience and strengthens environmental, social and governance?
Why oppose Project ESG when it’s not a competition platform but rather a platform where contestants are eliminated based on “progressive” challenges posed to them?
“At its core, ESG is a social credit scoring system that ideologically aligned elites and subservient bureaucratic authorities have developed to “reset” the global financial system to their advantage, fundamentally transforming society in the process. This is accomplished by altering traditional frameworks of evaluating businesses and assessing investment risk.
“Rather than determining the creditworthiness and value of a business or industry based upon objective measures such as profit, return on investment, consumer demand, and other material performance measures, ESG’s architects seek to judge entities based upon subjective and difficult to quantify social and environmental goals. These objectives typically have little or nothing to do with business success in the marketplace based on consumer demand expressed through their purchases.” (Emphasis mine.)
And, with regard to his well-researched paper documenting ESG’s becoming “one of the gravest threats facing the free societies of the world today.”, Jack McPherrin writes
“ESG is an insidious threat to individual freedom and economic progress, as this important paper explains. ESG efforts threaten everyone’s retirement, their ability to obtain and maintain credit, and even to have bank accounts and do business with banks.A cabal of political and financial elites are using social credit scoring in the form of ESG to enforce docile acceptance of the progressive social and economic goals they favor.” (Emphasis mine.)
One major aspect of Project ESG program that has driven many away is the matter of return on investment (ROI). Investors want a positive return from their shareholdings and not losses, e.g. KSS, TGT, BUD, produced by highly subjective elements that Project ESG scoring dictates. Investors have placed their capital into a corporation to grow their investment and not for drama and virtue signaling.
If a corporation’s CEO, CFO, COO, CIO or another suit wants to donate a portion of their huge salary to some social cause they are free to do so. They are not free to do so with my shares. They should not buy carbon offsets with my investment dollars. When I sell my shares, I will use the profit to support my social values.
I’ve told the portfolio manager overseeing my retirement funds that I do not want any of my funds invested in ESG companies. “Don’t ESG on me,” I said. She responded by saying that many of her clients have said the same thing.
The same objection to Project ESG applies for public and pension funds. Find out where your state is with ESG. Your state can impose an ESG Insurance Shareholder Restriction:
A bill to prohibit insurers or holding companies organized under state law from including ESG proposals in a proxy statement or implementing an ESG shareholder proposal.
Other aspects of Project ESG, beyond financial considerations, are being rejected:
“Nearly every ESG system includes three primary themes: climate change mitigation and associated climate and environmental goals and actions; promoting social justice and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives; and reforming corporate governance. Project ESG elites talk of stakeholders (designers) finding new opportunities to create value. The values to be created are Project ESG elite values. But I do not share those values.
I reject the notion that there is a climate change crisis. See previous posts for more.
I reject the trendy “value” of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) over the classic value of merit. I value honesty, trustworthiness, compassion, decency, respect for life, good environmental stewardship, taking responsibility for one’s behavior. Fulfilling quotas on company boards doesn’t add value to the company, the consumer or the stockholder. Fulfilling quotas only adds Project ESG points. (Note: Kamala Harris was a DEI pick for U.S. VP. Do you see any value in the pick?)
I reject Project ESG’s corporatist government design as the means to bring about the common good. Free market capitalism with individuals freely making tradeoffs works toward a common good.
I reject Project ESG’s social engineering by elite design checklists.
I reject Project ESG’s design authority – globalist dominionism that assumes positions of power and influence over all aspects of society and government that will produce a global serfdom heavily reliant on Big Brother’s social credit scoring.
I reject the basis of Project ESG’s evaluations: scientism and scientific socialism. I remind you that scientism is “the opinion that science and the scientific method are the best or only way to render truth about the world and reality”. Scientific socialism is Marxian socialism made more rigid and deterministic by Friedrich Engels. I reject social engineering and the mechanistic determinism that eliminates human contingency.
I thereby reject the notion that only physical matter and its motions are real and that everything—nature, history, even human thought—is reducible to matter moving in accordance with the same timeless “iron laws” of motion.
I reject utopian socialism.
I reject Project ESG’s dictatorial control of life’s designs. I reject severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition. Life is more than a checklist, more than a deterministic program designed to produce certain outcomes. I reject fascism.
Why do we need Project ESG? For the drama of who’s in and who’s out? To market the ideology of having wealth, power, and influence become increasingly concentrated in the hands of a select few oligarchic individuals and institutions promoting ESG and their new economic ideology of “stakeholder capitalism”?
What’s the rush to change the world? Why is there a hue and cry and John Kerry’s nasally nostrums about “fixing the climate” now? Because a few people say we need to “act now!” and their demands are constantly repeated on state media? There is no climate crisis but there certainly is a concerted effort being made by elites to change the social climate via a Great Reset. (See previous posts for more.)
Why a Black Mirror approach of unending pursuit of scientific and technological advancement?
Why do we need to change what is working? And there is much that is working. Capitalism works. Nuclear energy works. Traditional marriage and the nuclear family works. We notice the loss when what works is sidelined and corrupted by social planners who tell us there’s a better way.
And, what about Chesterton’s fence, the principle that you don’t destroy what you don’t understand. Reforms should not be made until the reasoning behind the existing state of affairs is understood. (See below for more.) One should not be rewiring society without a knowledge of history and of what circuitry works.
And there’s this: without God, the world looks to itself for a moral compass, hence Project ESG. Elites consider those under them to be lost sheep designers who need a global shepherd to direct them.
Without God, humans look to the world for drama to give meaning to their life. Many people rely on the media and social media to give meaning to their nihilistic existence. Hence, increasing paganism.
Without God, humans look to the world for identity and affirmation. Hence the vitriol and rage when gays, trannies, drag queens, and the like are not affirmed in every conversation. Project ESG makes sure that narcissism is affirmed with its DEI metrics.
Without God, Project ESG and the Great Reset look like paths forward for humanity when in reality they are paths toward the subjugation of humans under totalitarianism. The murderous history of totalitarianism will repeat itself if the elites have their way.
Project ESG judges believe they own the future and not just their future, your future. They believe they can fashion the future by refashioning you.
Like Project Runway, Project ESG is a game show with a few elitist judges determining whether you are worthy to be involved in their world. Contestants will learn whether Big banks find them Project ESG worthy of capital to survive.

We are the unhealthiest population of all time. Here’s why.

Klaus Schwab, the creepy front man for the World Economic Forum, opened the annualconfab of the global cabal in Davos, Switzerland with a call to “master the future.”

Regarding the “polycrisis,” the WEF assembled an extensive matrix of threats facing the world. The top five short-term risks were the “cost-of-living crisis, natural disasters and extreme weather, geo-economic confrontation, failure to mitigate climate change, and erosion of social cohesion and societal polarization. . . “the top four most severe risks over the next 10 years are all environmental.”
Note: except for Natural disasters and extreme weather (force majeure) the “unprecedented multiple crises” or “Polycrisis” mentioned above have all been manufactured by stakeholders to produce a certain outcome.
The extensive matrix of threats facing the world are media hyped. Fear mongering using disaster scenarios and the urgency to act – without a second thought – is found in media narratives. If it doesn’t bleed a crisis narrative, it doesn’t lead.
Natural disaster and calamity are given to us to remind mankind of its powerlessness, and to turn us aside from our arrogance. But that doesn’t deter the proud.
Here in America, inflation and the cost-of living crisis is a crisis the Biden regime created with its socialist green new deal along with the ruinous overspending by Congress (see the recent $1.7 trillion Omnibus Bill). Geo-economic confrontation (wars and rumors of wars?) occurs because greedy and pompous leaders see themselves as masters of the future. The climate change catastrophe is a manufactured crisis as was the COVID pandemic. Erosion of social cohesion and societal polarization –Marxists erode social cohesion; the WEF supports race relations antagonism and the fragmentation of society.
The WEF future peddlers and predators view all of the world as one that can be controlled – reset – and mastered. They plan to do all this by 2030.

I cannot know individual motives. I can only base my opinion on messaging and methods and the obvious.
Let’s start here. The WEF has an underlying set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe. The WEF has a “global order” moral code to govern the conduct of human affairs. As you will learn, globalist morality will be compulsory.
Any institutionalized system that practices, with ardor and faith, a cause, principle, or system of beliefs and creates disciples is a religion. The WEF has obvious characteristics of a religion. (Even the godless have to believe in and worship something.)

The Global Order religion is not a new way of thinking about and managing mankind and civilization. “Man is born free and everywhere he is in chains” is the opening sentence of Swiss philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s (1712–1778) essay The Social Contract.
Rousseau, like many since, assumed that man by nature is a free and innocent being. Man, he insisted, was born with the potential for goodness but civilization, with its envy, self-consciousness, and competition has made men bad.
Fellow philosopher Voltaire charged Rousseau with primitivism, accusing him of wanting to make people go back and walk on all fours. When institutions are fixed, Rousseau believed, mankind will respond in positive social ways.
Today we hear of “systemic racism” and the need for “change we can believe in”, “fundamental transformation” and a “Great Reset”. As more and more American institutions become aligned with the globalist collective, it will be out with the old and in with the new Global Order religion.
And with each transition we seethe perverse irony in the WEF’s “rules-based order” and the consensus implied in The Social Contract of Rousseau: man who is “born free”, is to take on the “chains” imposed by the institutions of the globalist collective for a better “future”. With each transition we see that globalist utopia means global dystopia.
For the Christian, the materialist view of the world is way too small and incomplete. Christians view the world through a much broader lens. The wide-angle lens includes both the physical world and, by the operation of faith, “the things that can’t be seen. After all, the things you can see are here today and gone tomorrow; but the things you can’t see are everlasting.” (2 Cor. 4:18).
It is a down-to-earth view that includes man, not as an innocent being, but man as corrupted by sinful choices and yet redeemable because of Christ. It is a view that sees that the whole of creation is groaning as it waits for redemption. It is a elevated view that sees the Kingdom of God and the restoration of the cosmic order.
The Christian views the material world relation to the transcendent. For one example, read the poem God’s Grandeur by Gerard Manley Hopkins.
Faith, as described in Hebrews 1: 1-3, is the means to bolster our confidence about things we can’t see or see as puzzling reflections in glass (1 Cor. 13: 12). Faith is the means to see past, present and future in the hands of the One who is the same yesterday, today and forever.
With confidence bolstered we can move out from a dark cave-dwelling existence of disturbing shadows – the Shadowlands – and look ahead into the broad daylight and Reality. We faith it out as did Abraham:
“Off he went, not knowing where is going.” . . . “He was looking ahead, you see, “to the city which has its foundations, the city of which God is the designer and builder”. (Heb. 11:8, 10).
Did Abraham really imagine a city such as that? We don’t know. We do know that tent-dweller Abraham who lived under a starry canopy had been promised descendants as many as the stars . . .. “the designer and builder” of all that is above would make sure of it.
Challenges? Stakeholders? Resolutions?
Christians deal with challenges not by making others do want we want as the WEF is proposing. We face challenges head on by faith. Read Hebrews 11. There, we read of people whose faith transcended the threat of pain and death by political mercenaries.
Christians are stakeholders in both the seen and unseen. We seek resolutions to a disordered cosmos. And so, we pray, we faith, we work. We pray, we faith, we work. We pray, we faith, and we work every day.
Who holds the future? Not those called to “master the future” by the World Economic Forum. Masters of faith know Who holds the future and act accordingly.

Elsewhere, Boorsma specs out 20 Building Blocks of Successful Community Digitalization with an imperative that “Connectivity, solutions, architectures, cyber security and data need to be managed comprehensively in order for a community to not end up stuck in silos and to be sufficiently future ready” .
Looking past the “unprecedented promise” of community digitization and “the Art of Connecting Everything” to the implications for end users, would community digitalization be a blessing or a bane?
What “values and organizational paradigms” would follow from digitalization? Do they come from the collaborative “societal stakeholders”? Would “human enterprise be organized better, differently” via community digitalization? By whose standard?
What power does community digitalization give to collaborative “societal stakeholders”? Could such power corrupt them? Could absolute community digitalization corrupt them absolutely? If none of these inquiries concern you, these questions should at least alert the reader to the specter of technological control not only of public space but also of private space. This is the agenda of the technocrats and stakeholders of the World Economic Forum and their Great Reset.
One would expect a School of Global Management to promote a unified theory of world digitization. One would also expect such a school to concern itself with making sure that the world in crisis mode can count on digital technology that is not compromised by digital divides and digital disruptions.

In tandem with a digital credit score, digital currency will replace anonymous cash. The Biden regime is already moving in that direction. Digitization, via apps, AI, smart devices, cameras, and satellites, will monitor and control finances, spending, energy use, vaccine status, and conversations. End users will be monitored night and day.

I don’t know the motive of these moralizing gurus other than they want to “reclaim Christianity from right-wing extremism” or some such thing such thing. (David French, who has an extreme case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, says he wants to pry away the conservative movement from a deranged man [Trump]. That’s why he’s all in on the radical Leftist Kamala-Walz duo – to save conservatism from itself.)
Is there mal-intent by these evangelists of the Left, these missionaries of Progressivism – for Progressivism is a political religion? Maybe not. They likely have turned their eyes and ears away from reality to follow Wide Way myths – contrived notions of right and wrong. Some have become paid influencers who find ways of being in the spotlights of media’s Great White Way. In any case, they have become disciples of Mao and the Left.
And the Left, like Mao in support of his Cultural Revolution, has shown that it will do what it wants by any means necessary including rig elections, creating hoaxes, spreading lies, censorship, purging of political opponents, and unjust lawfare in the name of “Democracy!” to bring about its own Cultural Revolution.

The Left’s spiritual guides employ the Maoist formula of unity, criticism, unity. They’ll start by talking about wanting to unite Christians in a better way of love and then they’ll criticize in Saul Alinsky-like fashion. You’ve heard the ad hominems: “deplorables” “bitter clingers” “extremists” “conspiracy theorists” “homophobes” “xenophobes”, “authoritarians”, “fascists”, “threats to Evangelicalism” AND “DEMOCRACY!” and the latest put-down: “they’re weird.”

They ridicule “Christian Nationalists” as being backward reactionaries and project a threat to Democracy on to them. And it’s no wonder: would-be dictators, Marxists, fascists, autocrats, and MSNBC use the word “Democracy” the most. It’s used by them in a bait and switch scheme.
These “purveyors of Democracy” offer to sell “Democracy”, which they do not actually intend to sell. This is “the bait.” They switch customers from buying the advertised “Democracy” that the seller initially offered into buying a different product or service that is usually at a higher price (loss of freedom including free speech – vox populi – and therefore Democracy!) and has advantageous effect to the advertiser (dictatorship). This is the “switch.”
From a Marxist perspective, the Left wants to subvert the nation-state and nationalism. Marxists think that the Proletarians who embrace nationalism do so out of false consciousness. The working class should therefore abandon their parochial worldview and understand that their struggles against the bourgeoisie, the means of production and capitalism, transcend national boundaries. Nationality would disappear as people come to identify by class instead. So goes Bolshevik theory. The working class has no homeland!

It seems to me that all such groups like Evangelicals for Harris see themselves as freed up thinkers and Rousseauian in the sense that they feel good about themselves and what they do for they think they are morally good apart from any outside reference except for their tribe. And more so.
They believe that the “politically correct” views they hold would create a perfectly unified democracy. And so, they ply Evangelicals to transfer allegiance from what they hold to be true to what they say is true. As such, they reveal themselves to be the prophets of “totalitarian democracy” – the majority living under the tyranny (“unity”) of a one absolute and perfect political truth.
By any measure – facts, science, Scripture, common sense, and the common good – groups such as Evangelicals for Harris are at war with reality. And, it’s no wonder. They are the products and facilitators of the struggle session known as The 2024 Project.

Evangelicals for Harris, formerly Evangelicals for Biden, is a project of Faith Voters, a 501(c)4 organization. It is a group claiming to represent evangelicals who are voting and advocating for Harris-Walz.
Apparently, they are running interference for Harris-Walz while seeking to downplay their radical agenda on issues like the economy, race, climate change, open borders, abortion entrenchment and expansion, LGBTQ promotion, destroying the nuclear family, and trans-ing the children – all in the name of Evangelicalism.
Even Billy Graham’s granddaughter has joined Evangelicals for Harris: ‘Voting Kamala, for me, is so much greater than policies.’ Apparently, wisdom need not be applied to issues beyond her wrinkled nose. The country can go to hell so long as Trump is not elected. A Faustian bargain, indeed.
A recent Evangelicals for Harris Zoom event was hosted by an activist who has a long history of bashing “Whiteness” and calling for the destruction of police departments.
Ekemini Uwan hosted the Zoom call, one of many identity-based online Zoom meetings in support of the new Democratic Party nominee that have sparked controversy.
Uwan describes herself on her website as a “reparations activist whose work spans the globe, as she has advocated for global reparations on behalf of Africans and African Descendants on the floor of the United Nations three times.”
