“Mask Wearers of the World, Unite!”

This past year-and-a half, did you “merge with the anonymous crowd” and “flow comfortably along with it down the river of pseudo-life”? Did you follow the flotilla of Pied pipers mesmerizing you with “the science”?

Did you socially distance, put on a mask, and have your business and office and church shut down? Did you believe that the PCR tests are accurate (Guess why there are so few cases of the flu reported)? Did you submit your body to be a lab experiment for the mRNA vaccines?

Did you go along with “the science” to get along? Did you go along with “the anonymous crowd” because, per the head mocker of the Biden regime, “if you’re not vaccinated, you’re not nearly as smart as I thought you were,”.

Do you now equate the loss of freedom and choice as a loss of your identity as a human? Or, are you still wanting “to flow comfortably along with it (the loss of your identity) down the river of pseudo-life”? Are you OK with diktats and lacking individual will? Are you OK supporting the automatism of a totalitarian system?

Now, you may say to me “it was out of fear of COVID that I persuaded myself to follow the mandates”, or, “It was out of fear of giving someone COVID that I submitted to the mandates’, or, “it was out of fear of litigation that I shut down my business, my church.”

Or, was it out of fear of thinking for yourself, acting individually, and rebuffing the diktats coming down from the bio-medical regime through the state media?

The alignment of the power – globalists, oligarchs, techno-utopians, politicians, the media, the Pope, and the forces of evil – against the powerless has been the impetus for my dissenting posts over the past year and-a half. I have opposed the schizophrenic CDC guidelines. I have opposed authoritarian mandates. I have opposed tyranny – including medical tyranny. I have opposed the lies being fed us. I have opposed the sowing of fear. And, I will oppose the Great Reset mandates – from the powerful to the powerless – coming our way.

What is coming our way is a thousand times more tyrannical than what we’ve seen the past year. The “river of pseudo-life” will flow with blood. If my words have seemed harsh, critical and uncompassionate, if it appears that I am calling out people for their past behavior, then please understand. This post is meant to be a wakeup call. It is meant to shake you out of a COVID-induced paralysis to face the growing nightmare.

As a nation, we didn’t start out stupefied and powerless. But over time we gave in to soft tyranny (Tocqueville). Out of fear, we have exchanged our freedom (and our identity) for false security.

Last century, for example, we accepted the New Deal and the tyranny of centralized planning – the welfare state and overreaching government. Wasn’t New Deal tyranny acceptance based on (economic) fear? Wasn’t New Deal tyranny acceptance also a “well-meaning” acceptance by the people?

Today, fearful and well-meaning people, have become OK with the hard-core tyranny of censorship. Those behind the Great Reset love these people. Behind the fascia of Build Back Better is (1984’s) Room 101:  Besmirch Bludgeon Begone.

As we have seen, much of the country has fallen prostrate before mandates and “guidelines” out of fear of a so-called “public-health crisis”. Yet, COVID19 is a variation of the common cold and has a recovery rate of over 99.8 % for most people. Early outpatient treatment is recommended.

The American Journal of Medicine now (Jan. 2021) now (finally!) recommends Hydroxychloroquine, Azithromycin, and Zinc for the treatment of Covid 19 outpatients. Had this been the protocol used in Jan. 2020, many lives could have been saved. But the powerful – Anthony Fauci, the CDC, Francis Collins and the NIH, Bill Gates, and big pharma – had other plans for the American people.

There has also been fear of litigation if not abiding by the mandates and “guidelines”. Behind all the fear is the fear of disobeying the powerful alignment that stands against the powerless.

To assuage fears, there are those who have chosen to “merge with the anonymous crowd” and have chosen to live the (COVIDian) lies given them. They have chosen “to flow comfortably along with it down the river of pseudo-life”.

The COVIDian lies include the following:

Mask wearing is effective to stop the spread of COVID; not wearing a mask puts yourself and others at risk; children must wear a mask to school.

A group of physicians from Germany, Poland and Austria, concluded that the wearing of nose and mouth coverings by children leads to an increase in carbon dioxide levels in both inhaled and exhaled air while wearing a mask.

Social distancing works to stop the spread of COVID; shutting down businesses and churches stops the spread of COVID.

You need the vaccine to protect you from COVID. It is safe and effective.

December, 1989. Václav Havel was elected president of Czechoslovakia. On New Year’s Day, 1990, he gave his first “state-of-the-nation” address to the country on national television.

“For forty years on this day, you heard, from my predecessors, variations on the same theme: how our country was flourishing, how many millions of tons of steel we produced, how happy we all were, how we trusted our government, and what bright perspective were unfolding before us.

I assume do did not propose me for this office so that I, too, would lie to you.

Our country is not flourishing. . .. 

But all this is not the main problem. The worst thing is that we live in a contaminated moral environment. We fell morally ill because we got used to saying something different from what we thought. We learned not to believe in anything, to ignore each other, to care only for ourselves. Concepts such as love, friendship, compassion, humility, and forgiveness lost their depth and dimensions. . .. As I have observed the growing fascism under the alignment of the powerful with the Biden regime and its invocation of dystopia and dehumanization akin to what Havel described in his address, the title of Václav Havel’s 1978 essay, The Power of the Powerless, intrigued me.  

The essay, among others found in The Power of the Powerless: Citizens Against the State in Central Eastern Europe, explain the features of Soviet-type totalitarian systems of power as compared to the West (A comparison soon to be invalid if people continue “to flow comfortably along . . . down the river of pseudo-life).

Havel’s description of “the post-totalitarian system” he is witness to is shockingly similar to current state of affairs in the U.S.:

“The post-totalitarian system touches people at every step, but it does so with its ideological gloves on. This is why life in the system is so thoroughly permeated with hypocrisy and lies: government by bureaucracy is called popular government; the working class is enslaved in the name of the working class; the complete degradation of the individual is presented as his or her ultimate liberation; depriving people of information is called making it available; the use of power to manipulate is called the public control of power, and the arbitrary abuse of power is called observing the legal code; the repression of culture is called its development; the expansion of imperial influence is presented as support for the oppressed; the lack of free expression becomes the highest form of freedom; farcical elections become the highest form of democracy; banning independent thought becomes the most scientific of world views; military occupation becomes fraternal assistance. Because the regime is captive to its own lies, it must falsify everything. It falsifies the past. It falsifies the present, and it falsifies the future. It falsifies statistics. It pretends not to possess an omnipotent and unprincipled police apparatus. It pretends to respect human rights. It pretends to persecute no one. It pretends to fear nothing. It pretends to pretend nothing.”

Havel’s “post-totalitarian state” of 70’s Communist Eastern Europe was totalitarian but radically different from the totalitarian dictatorships of Hitler and Mao. Havel’s biographer, John Keane, described Havel’s “post-totalitarian state” this way:

Within the system, every individual is trapped within a dense network of the state’s governing instruments. . .themselves legitimated by a flexible but comprehensive ideology, a “secularized religion”. . . .it is therefore necessary to see, argued Havel, that power relations. . .are best described as a labyrinth of influence, repression, fear and self-censorship which swallows up everyone within it, at the very least by rendering them silent, stultified and marked by some undesirable prejudices of the powerful.

Keane’s description brings us back to the epigram of this post. The “willingness to merge” statement is from The Power of the Powerless. It follows from the shop-keeper example and questions Havel poses:

The manager of a fruit-and-vegetable shop places in his window, among the onions and carrots, the slogan: “Workers of the world, unite!” Why does he do it? What is he trying to communicate to the world?  Is he genuinely enthusiastic about the idea of unity among the workers of the world? Is his enthusiasm so great that he feels an irrepressible impulse to acquaint the public with his ideals? Has he really given much thought to how such a unification might occur and what it could mean?

What if the shopkeeper takes down his sign (takes off his mask) and begins to speak up?

Havel explores the potential of the “powerless” with an examination of the nature of power. Havel speaks of a profound crisis of human identity brought about by “living within a lie.” He speaks of political import: the individual’s moral choice for truth and in the creation of an independent life – a sphere of truth – for society even as every individual is trapped within a dense network of the state’s governing instruments. (I would add: The center of power is not the center of truth.)

This week I received the following message from my Illinois state representative:

Yesterday, Governor JB Pritzker issued a statewide mask mandate for K-12 students. In doing so, he superseded the decisions being made at the local level, and silenced the voices of students, parents, educators and administrators. 

This authoritarian mandate is the latest attack on truth and humanity. As most people now know, masks are ineffective against the spread of COVID. Worse, as detailed above, masks are dangerous for children to wear. Do not send your children to school in masks. Masks are physically and emotionally harmful for children to wear. Defy the lie.

Having trouble seeing things today? Do you “know roughly what they are” – the dark forces at work in the world today? You and I should know them well enough to see to them for what they are – opportunists of evil. To wit, opportunist evil doers act according to the following scheme:

We are the peons. They look down on us. They want us to look up and pray “Thy elite will be done on earth as it is boardrooms, college classrooms and political backrooms.”

The crisis has presented an opportunity. Social engineering. The globalist elites are testing the resistance of people to a One World authority. They are doing this under the rubric of mitigating a “public health crisis.” Healthy political and social immune systems are being worn down.

You know what the evil opportunists are doing. Power is being transferred from the people to the state. State licensing is gutting small business with threats of revocation. Wealth is being transferred from the middle class to the wealthy (who do not bear the financial brunt of the lockdowns). Civil liberties are being trashed. People are being forced to kneel to the will of the state. The state had help from evil opportunists – sheep in wolves’ clothing -to make it all-powerful.

Globalist health organizations (the CDC, the WHO, and the NIH) are lockdown enablers. (see video below)

The Progressive state media (the NYT, WaPo, CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News) are re-educating the masses. The public is now being subjected to a 24/7 exposure to case numbers, positivity rates, death tickers and PSAs. The useful idiots of these media orgs want you to believe that contracting COVID-19 is a death sentence.

You will not find reported the number of those who have recovered (the word on the street is 99.9%). You will not find the number of cases to mortality rate reported. You will not find year over year mortality rates and causation. The latter was analyzed, graphed and posted on the internet only to be quickly retracted and removed  “The article may have contributed to the spread of misinformation about COVID-19.” You and I are not allowed the whole truth.

The CDC classified all deaths that are related to COVID-19 simply as COVID-19 deaths. Even patients dying from other underlying diseases but are infected with COVID-19 count as COVID-19 deaths. This is likely the main explanation as to why COVID-19 deaths drastically increased while deaths by all other diseases experienced a significant decrease.

In other words, COVID-19 death counts replaced ‘typical’ causes of death counts. You and I are being manipulated by the media and health organizations.

The article noted that “in contrast to most people’s assumptions, the number of deaths by COVID-19 is not alarming. In fact, it has relatively no effect on deaths in the United States.” You and I are to be terrified and run into the arms of globalists. They are the gods who will save us.

(I am 68. I am not concerned about contracting the virus. If I do, my body will deal with it. My body will build immunity to the virus. I will not be taking the vaccine. In liberal parlance, “MY BODY, MY CHOICE!”

I am not a science denier. I am an engineer.  I am also a Christian. I put my life in the hands of God and not in the hands of fortune-telling scientists who are subjects of Lucifer.)

Your evidence, opinions, values, and beliefs are stripped from their naked public square. Your voice is de-valued just as Democrats had no problem disenfranchising your vote with election fraud. Social media publishers have no problem dismissing election fraud evidence just as the mainstream media says “nothing to see here, move on”.

As you know, social media platforms have no problem inviting you into their world. They have commercial and political purposes. But you enter their world. You may be considered a virus if you don’t say the things that agree with their body politic. They may quarantine you. To remain in their world, you must be inoculated. The GroupThink vaccine works to inure one against the negative effects of censorship. The GroupThink vaccine causes one to react against actual journalism.

Do you see the thinking behind censorship? It’s the logical relation of Orwell and Protagoras: some men are more the measure of all things.

I have heard opportunist evil doers blame President Trump for pandemic deaths. Why? Globalists connected with China don’t want you to point a finger at China. A media narrative was created to deflect blame.

You should listen to this whistleblower! Chinese ophthalmologist and virologist Dr. Lei Meng Yan put the lie to the Communist Chinese Party’s propaganda: the virus exists in nature; the nature origin theory. Her white paper (below) shows that the virus was generated by the CCP. The virus is a weapon.

Note: Dr. Yan has fled China. Her mother, still in China, has been arrested. The CCP is very angry with Dr. Yan.

The Bill of Rumored Rights

Retired prison psychiatrist Anthony Daniels (Theodore Dalrymple) speaks and writes with keen insight gathered from his experience of the human condition and of its surrounding culture. Here is a short introduction of Daniels from the website Goodreads:

Daniels is a contributing editor to City Journal, published by the Manhattan Institute, where he is the Dietrich Weismann Fellow. In addition to City Journal, his work has appeared in The British Medical Journal, The Times, The Observer, The Daily Telegraph, The Spectator, The Salisbury Review, National Review, and Axess magasin.

In 2011, Dalrymple received the 2011 Freedom Prize from the Flemish think tank Libera!.

Not only is Anthony Daniels a prolific writer and well-read, as you’ll discover, he is also well-traveled. His accounts of staying in five countries (North Korea, Albania, Romania, Vietnam and Cuba), all five of which operate under leftist-ideology based regimes, is recorded in The Wilder Shores of Marx: Journeys in a Vanishing World. Would-be fellow travelers in the long march of cultural Marxism, both young and old, would do well to read about life in the totalitarian state under centralized government. Daniel’s accounts would be especially revelatory for the would-be fellow travelers promoting ‘democratic’ socialism, the ‘gateway drug’ to full-blown addiction to life under top down government. Democratic socialism is currently being promoted as the means to secure peace of mind (aka happiness) by coercively and exhaustively taxing the wealthy and then having unelected central planners redistribute the take. The uninformed traveler could also read about the state of Venezuela.

I first encountered Anthony Daniels via his essays in The New Criterion, a monthly literary magazine I subscribe to. His extensive bibliography is listed in the Wikipedia entry Theodore Dalrymple.

His talk on multiculturalism begins with the subject of rights as misunderstood and misapplied today. My take: rights-gatherers employ victim status leveraged with inalienability to secure advantages in society. With their Bill of Rumored Rights they seek to bypass “the pursuit of happiness” and go directly to happiness.

If the Left truly wanted to win, it needed to first seize the “cultural means of production”: the culture-forming institutions such as the media and universities and even churches. He saw societal transformation coming about by a “march through the institutions.”…

Gramsci insisted that leftist intellectuals needed to question everything, including moral absolutes and the Judeo-Christian basis of Western civilization. They needed to frame seemingly benign conventions as systematic injustices that must be exposed. This is where we got professors fulminating against everything from “the patriarchy” to “white imperialism” to “transphobia.”

The new/old Jeremiah Wright preachers of hate and exclusion want you to join them in bashing Whites, Jews, Christians, Tea Party members, Capitalism, language and… the First Amendment:

As you listen to the video below you will hear the devotees of this ‘white guilt’ cult parsing language to reprogram your mind.

“Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone– God speaking to Job (38:4-6)

 

The current vision of ‘rights’ held by Progressives (the “anointed”) as contained in a quote from Thomas Sowell, economist:

“The anointed want to eliminate stress, challenge, striving, and competition. They want the necessities of life to be supplied as “rights” ~ which is to say, at the taxpayer’s expense, without anyone’s being forced to work for those necessities, except of course the taxpayers.
Nothing is to be earned. “Self-esteem” is to be dispensed to school children as largess from the teacher. Adults are to have their medical care and other necessities dispensed as largess from the government. People are to be mixed by race and sex and whatever else the anointed want to take into account, in order to present whatever kind of picture the anointed think should be presented.
This is the vision of human beings as livestock to be fed by the government and herded and tended by the anointed. All the things that make us human beings are to be removed from our lives and we are to live as denatured creatures and directed by our betters. (emphasis mine)
Those things that help human beings be independent and self-reliant ~ whether automobiles, guns, the free market, or vouchers ~ provoke instant hostility from the anointed.”

Today I am asking questions. Explore with me the idea of ‘rights.’

 The fundamental notion of Human Rights comes from…random genetic behavioral adaptations, the social constructs of a group of dabbling socio-political philosophers such as Jean-Jacques Rousseau, John Locke, Thomas Hobbes, and John Stuart Mill, or as emanating from Kant’s Golden Rule-like categorical imperatives or as ad hoc thoughts based on current information… or ultimately and essentially from a Sovereign God?

 Let’s start with what we do know about rights and where they emanate from.

Our US Declaration of Independence states that God Himself bestowed our rights and liberties upon us:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”.).

 Hold the “self-evident” thought for a second. Before discussing that a priori concept, I think we can all agree that all men are created equal (some people being more equal than others if you accept materialism’s income inequality as a proper test of justice. The concept of collective envy ruminating as social justice which soon demands tyranny, is wonderfully portrayed in George Orwell’s Animal Farm.)

An “inalienable right” defined: a right according to natural law, a right that cannot be taken away, denied, or transferred. In other words, you don’t own the right to rights. They are a priori, naturally occurring.

Where does natural law come from? We understand legal rights as being those rights determined by man-made laws. But natural law, where does natural law come from?

 Some ideas of natural or inalienable rights at the very least dates back to the Greek Stoics – Hellenistic Philosophers were concerned about cosmic determinism and free will. They maintained that proper behavior, not words alone but well-meaning-self-limiting actions, revealed one’s non-predetermined or free will “rights.”

 Later, Catholic law would take up the strophe. Then it passed to the Middle Ages after which it coursed through the Reformation then the Enlightenment and right up to my post today.  I write this post within a God-bestowed natural law and a man-made legal right of free speech. How convenient!

 Are natural rights only generated from reason as Immanuel Kant ‘reasoned’ or are they God-given and then realized? Atheists might prefer man-made reason as opposed to an Intelligent Designer. But the source of their own reasoning is left outside the premises (yeah, I know).

 But, If we start with a Intelligent Designer who spoke the Big Bang into existence and then, as most scientists do, recognize an orderly precisely tuned universe held together by four fundamental physical constants called gravity, the strong and weak nuclear forces and electromagnetism and the thought that perhaps all four constants are manifestation of a single underlying and unifying force then we eventually and evidentially return to an Intelligent Designer.

This Intelligent Designer (ID) decided, that after everything had cooled down from the monstrously hot plasma occurring from the Big Bang, that out of the annihilating ’battle’ between the equal forces of matter and anti-matter, that matter would ‘carpe diem’ –seize the day.

This programmed mismatch of matter over antimatter became our physical Genesis, our physical beginnings. We came forth out of God’s spoken word as Remnants of an exploding universe. And, this genesis is recorded in the elements and compounds that compose our very bodies. But there is more to us than what you see and carry around with you.

 Now, this same Designer wrote the book on His universe – the Holy Scriptures. This book doesn’t lay out the physical constants. The Book assumes them to be already at work.

 It is from man’s earliest recorded philosophy book The Book of Job that we learn about God’s ways with mankind. The discourse between God and man ultimately leads to Job’s sevenfold blessing but not without a lot of hard lessons learned about a human’s ‘rights’ along the way. The Intelligent Designer didn’t have to speak at all but he did speak and made Himself known. He gave Job the right to speak but up to a point. This is natural law in early human drama.

 In Genesis we learn that God gave man and woman the ‘right’ to eat of every tree in the garden except for a certain tree. “Don’t go there,” God said. “That is not your right.” This is natural law revealed in the earliest human drama known to man.

 Boundaries, like physical constants that keep us from spinning out of control, were set in place for mankind. Do most anything but don’t do ‘these’ things I have told you about. You have this right but not this right. There are only God-known reasons for specific dos and don’ts. This is natural law.

 Example: God decided that if the weak nuclear force, this specific one out of the four physical constants, if it varied at all from its constant ‘duty’ it would mean the instant destruction of our planet by the sun. I’m glad God is not fickle. He deals in constants.

 Well, man’s free will, unlike gravity, is free to transgress some of God’s prescribed boundaries. So, knowing this beforehand, God wrote things he wanted his people to know in stone – the Ten Commandments. This is natural law.

 “Thou shalt…” is not a warranty list of dos and don’ts that would keep the manufacturer happy and out of the picture if you practiced them. This list is an acknowledgment of our natural rights within prescribed boundaries, within constants. This list is the first Bill of Rights and it is not open-ended. It is constrained by justice in dealing with your fellow man.

Something to think about: “We hold these truths to be self-evident…”

Self-evident truth? Like the four physical constants that scientists have discovered and then verified and now count on to be the same day after day?

As stated above, mankind is endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights that are self-evident. Truths, inalienable rights, natural law…self-evident. Sound familiar?

The Apostle Paul wrote about self-evident truth in Romans Chapter 5:

Romans 5:18

For the wrath of God is unveiled from heaven against all the ungodliness and injustice performed by people who use injustice to suppress the truth. What can be known about God, you see, is plain to them, since God has made it plain to them. There are, of course, things about God which can’t been known and seen: namely, his eternal power and deity. But ever since the world was created, they have known and seen in things that he has made. As a result, they have no excuse: they knew God, but didn’t honor him as God or thank him. Instead, they learned to think in useless ways, and their unwise heart grew….they did not see fit to hold on to a knowledge of God, God gave them up to an unfit mind, so that they would behave inappropriately. (emphasis mine)

 “They learned to think in useless ways…”

 Johns Stuart Mill proposed that truth and virtue originate from unconventional wisdom and by living as a non-conformist also known as his ‘experiments in living. Mill didn’t reflect on the Big picture.

Self-centered individualism and thinking in useless ways with unwise hearts while refusing acknowledgment of God have become the ‘constants’ of our souls. It has made us self-indulgent and ‘preachy’ about Human Rights while denying the self-evident truth.

  At all times we are free to acknowledge God and discourse with Him or not. God’s grace as revealed in Jesus’ death and resurrection allows us to have a discussion with Him about our sin. The natural law is still in place but be we are now able to abide by it using the Constant power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus did not come, as he said, to destroy the law and the prophets. The natural law he planted as a cornerstone is still there.

 Man’s pride, his ‘right’ to be atheistic may keep him from discourse with God, but God is Constant. He is righteously faithful to his word.

 It is important to note that the single underlying, unifying assumption behind the list of “Ten” is that mankind has been given freedom to do whatever he wills, even fly, (but only within the constants of physics).

 We all agree that Man was created with natural rights ~ a freedom to act. But after the Fall man’s rights lost their constant factor, their electromagnetic compass needle which always pointed toward God.

 Inalienable rights are great but to be of any meaning they need the boundaries and the foundation cornerstone of natural law already in place whereby we align our lives with self-evident truth.

 Without that compass needle or the cornerstone our ‘rights’ have become “values”, values that ‘search’ much like valence electrons looking for a place to park in a hook-up culture. One’s identity is no longer elementary and stable. And, our human rights crusades end in cruel and foolish anti-human jokes such as Global Warming.

 The idea of Human Rights. Does it come from…random genetic behavioral adaptations, a French philosopher, from ‘experiments in living,’ ad hoc thoughts based on current information, an inordinate desire to “want the necessities of life to be supplied as rights” or from an Intelligent Designer who set them in place in order to show His love for us?

 A nation that returned to God would be a nation that returned to Intelligent Design, to its cornerstone… and to its right mind. And, Human Rights could then be lazar-aligned from a fixed place in the universe.
