Freedom – Everywhere in Chains

Are you less free now than a year ago?

Are you being told that you will need a vaccine passport so that you can travel and participate in society once again?

Has your business license become a noose around your neck?

Do you feel free to make choices about dealing with COVID-19?

Do you feel free from coercion? From arbitrary power?

Are you being told how to live your life by those who do not know you?

Do you agree with the following?

Collectively decided to be good is principle the 18th century Swiss philosopher and French Revolution muse Jean Jacques Rousseau was after: the “general will”, as penned in his 1789 Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen.

Some equated Rousseau’s “general will” with an agreed upon rule of law that would ensure freedom and equal treatment in society. This, at first glance, appears to be beneficial for society. Yet, freedom can be quickly disposed of when the “general will” becomes a demand for obedience and conformity to its rules and laws. Dictators and totalitarian leaders – Democrats, specifically – and their media amplifiers have no problem creating a “general will” and dispensing with your freedom.

As you have witnessed, the Democrats/Left define and perpetrate “general will” in their own ideological (and theological – “social justice”) terms. The Left has no desire for input from anyone else.

The Left’s concocted “general will” is hawked by the predominately Leftist corporate media as the generally accepted will of the people. And, since the lie is in the NYT and on MSNBC, CNN and now on Fox News, people get the impression that what they are being sold is the real deal. Those who do not abide by the “general will” Groupthink are rubes, “bitter clingers”, “deplorables”, “racists”, and not worthy of a social media voice in the controlled “general will” narrative.

Does any of this sound familiar in light of this past year of politics playing medicine, of mandates, lockdowns, the stolen election, and the stolen “general will”? Freedom – everywhere in chains because of the imposition of “general will”.

Collectivist’s lies may make you feel like you are in sync with the “general will.” Therein, you may feel safe. Collectivism talks of multiculturalism, of humanism, of a “better world for everyone.” Individual freedom is of no importance to collectivists.

If you care about your freedom, then throw off any attachment to the collectivist “void”. Put to death the collectivist impulse once and for all. Resurrect the human that is you. I return you to the words of Friedrich Hayek.:

“Freedom to order our own conduct in the sphere where material circumstances force a choice upon us, and responsibility for the arrangement of our own life according to our own conscience, is the air in which alone moral sense grows and in which moral values are daily recreated in the free decision of the individual. The opening sentence to Rousseau’s The Social Contract:

“Man is born free and everywhere he is in chains.”

Rousseau, like many since, assumed that man is by nature a free and innocent being. He would tell you that man is not the problem. In The Social Contract he stated “Men are not naturally enemies”. He pointed to social institutions as the problem. Fast forward. Remember Barack Obama talking about the “fundamental transformation of America?”

Such a distorted vision of man is behind the ruinous ideology, i.e., Marxism, which has devasted and destroyed the lives of millions. In the effort to produce equality of results, the only equal result has been death by ideology.

Such a distorted vision of mankind is also behind the ad hoc justice being dispensed to today as “social justice.” Accordingly, people are not to be held accountable for crimes against another because of their social situation – environment is the problem, not the man. Yet, as anyone can see under ad hoc justice, a socially “just result” for the criminal does not produce an equally socially “just result” for the victim. The Left cares for one result but not the other.

As I write this, more and more of American institutions are becoming corrupted to serve the coming globalist collective. Man, who is “born free”, is willingly taking on the “chains” supplied by the institutions of the globalist collective.

“the right to be unhappy”

‘In fact,’ said Mustapha Mond, ‘you’re claiming the right to be unhappy.’

‘All right then,’ said the Savage defiantly, ‘I’m claiming the right to be unhappy.’

‘Not to mention the right to grow old and ugly and impotent; the right to have syphilis and cancer; the right to have too little to eat; the right to be lousy; the right to live in constant apprehension of what may happen tomorrow; the right to catch typhoid; the right to be tortured by unspeakable pains of every kind.’ There was a long silence.

This conversation between John the “savage” and Mustapha Mond, Resident World Controller of Western Europe, takes place in Aldous Huxley’s dystopian science fiction novel Brave New World.

Mond had explained to John the World State’s system of castes, control and consumerism established to create order, stability and happiness. Under the World State the world’s population, economy, technology and culture are made to serve the mission statement: “Community, Identity, Stability”.

John, reared on the Savage reservation and raised on Shakespeare, rejects Mond’s world as described here:

Everyone in Mond’s society belongs: nobody experiences the pain, loneliness, and rejection that has been part of John’s character formation. Nobody in the World State ever suffers any material want, such as hunger or overcrowding. Everyone lives in a clean, new, sterile, sanitary, and bright world with lots of things to buy. Everybody is conditioned or drugged to be happy…

To John, those elements of life Mond has jettisoned are exactly what make us human. Life for John is not worth living without the possibility of deep relationships and intellectual exploration and discovery.

What brought this novel to mind is the Left’s concerted effort to produce a similar globalist World State via the Great Reset. The “public health crisis” and the (illegitimate) 2020 election are the Left’s “gain of function” mutation of our rights and laws to bring about a World State.

Leftist professors, politicians, media provoking agents, Progressives, and even the Pope would have us believe that differences of class, race, income or XYZ can be resolved  and that equality and freedom can be won by “A system of government in which the state plans and controls the economy and a single, often authoritarian party holds power, claiming to make progress toward a higher social order in which all goods are equally shared by the people.”

The Pope after the 2016 election:

“It it has been said many times and my response has always been that, if anything, it is the communists who think like Christians. Christ spoke of a society where the poor, the weak and the marginalized have the right to decide. Not demagogues, not Barabbas, but the people, the poor, whether they have faith in a transcendent God or not. It is they who must help to achieve equality and freedom”. [emphasis added]

So, are we to believe that communists think like Christians (based on the communist seizure of Acts 4:32)?

Are we to choose to live under a flag of “Community, Identity, Stability”, where the people, the poor … achieve equality and freedom, and then (theoretically) be free of worry, material want, hate, isolation, disease, and would then be happy!?

I have tried to understand the heuristic behind those choosing freedom and those choosing to be free of freedom and desirous of living in a communist state. The Brave New World suggests to me that there are those who choose fail-prone freedom over happiness and those who choose fail-safe happiness over freedom. These two views are at odds. I see the difference going to the very nature of what it means to be human.

As we heard in John’s response above and from your own experience, you know that freedom involves choice.  And, being able to choose goes to the very essence of being human, does it not?

A material object cannot choose. Artificial Intelligence cannot know the sense of adventure and surprise inherent in the act of choosing. Objects and AI cannot know a sense of failure or of happiness or of worry or of hope that a choice may bring about.  

For those who choose fail-prone freedom, life is tragic, romantic and the sum of all human potentialities. Value is created through freedom and choice: love, goodness, charity, etc. These, taking the initiative freely, will say, “I see what needs to be changed, and it starts with me.”

(Now, you don’t want to make the same choices John “the savage” did. You’ll end up in a very dark place. But you get the gist of what I am saying.)

Those who choose fail-safe happiness over fail-prone freedom, it seems to me, trade their freedom and choices for a doled-out life of (theoretical) material security and certainty. These lay the burden of responsibility for their happiness on the World State. You can see this in the growing welfare state.

These seek to avoid pain and suffering and any effort that might bring about pain and suffering inherent in a choice. These seek the material comfort and surety promised by socialism’s “workers’ paradise.” These, lacking the initiative to choose, will say “I see what needs to be changed and it starts with you.”

For, those who choose fail-safe happiness over freedom, in order to obtain fail-safe happiness, go on to coerce, cancel and control the lives of those who do not conform to the manifesto of the World State of Happiness.

Tragically, fail-prone freedom outliers are considered less than human by the World Staters and are sent to internment camps. You either live in the ‘civilized’ World State of the ‘enlightened’ ‘real’ people or you live as barely human on the Savage Reservation.

There are no families and no religion in the World State. Babies are engineered and hatched in the World State. Babies occur naturally within families on the Reservation. There is a syncretic religiosity on the Reservation. Those of the World State voyeuristically watch the savages and worship the assembly line developer Henry Ford.

When the World State requires you to give up your freedom along with your rights and your property so that it can mete out happiness in the form of physical well-being and solidarity with others in similar chains, what will happen to you? Years ago, I wanted to understand the World State of Happiness, aka, communism, and the threat it imposed on humanity.

During the early eighties I read the three volumes of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s’ The Gulag Archipelago and One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich. (I doubt that Pope Francis has ever read these accounts of the devastation to human beings under communism. He prefers messaging that affirms his Marxist World State religion.)

As I learned from my reading, communism dehumanizes. And, as humans are wont to do, Solzhenitsyn rebelled against the imposition of inhumanity – a communist rule.  The rule had begun as an ideology to put things right and ended as an institution of purges, mass murders and gulag camps.

“Communism is as crude an attempt to explain society and the individual as if a surgeon were to perform his delicate operations with a meat ax. All that is subtle in human psychology and in the structure of society (which is even more complex), all of this is reduced to crude economic processes. The whole created being—man—is reduced to matter. It is characteristic that Communism is so devoid of arguments that it has none to advance against its opponents in our Communist countries. It lacks arguments and hence there is the club, the prison, the concentration camp, and insane asylums with forced confinement.”

What is certain if you choose fail-prone freedom over happiness is that you are “claiming the right to be unhappy.”

What is certain if you choose fail-safe happiness over freedom: your claiming the right to be happy will not be heard. For, you will have been “reduced to matter”.  Your human nature will be eradicated in your quest for security and stability, aka, happiness.

If you watch the mainstream media you would get the impression from the case numbers, positivity rates, death tickers and PSAs it presents that the Pandemic apocalypse is upon us. You will also get the impression that you had better do what you are told – stay home, don’t gather, wear a mask, get a vaccine – or else you will die or cause another’s death or be arrested or fined or your neighbor will turn you in and the COVID Stasi will come to your house and take you away.

There is abounding evidence that the 2020 Presidential election and various congressional elections were stolen. There are testimonies and affidavits that detail the steal. There is video evidence depicting the steal. There is a semi-truckload of evidence (pre-marked ballots) that mysteriously disappeared according to testimony of the truck driver. There is documented evidence that private money i.e., Mark Zuckerberg, “improperly and unlawfully impacted the result of the 2020 election” in swing states:

The evidence – including testimony, affidavits, videos, illegal voting registrations and more – has yet to be considered on its merits in the courts. The evidence has yet to be fully disclosed in court cases. Those who have presented the evidence have been labeled “conspiracy theorists” by the corporate media. The result of the persistent denial of reality: a tainted and illegitimate election and justice denied for over 70 million voters.

What has been forced upon Americans by corporate media, social media oligarchs, big tech, and Congress with the help of naïve useful idiots – Democrats – in the swing states is an illegitimate election. It follows, it should be noted, that the Biden/Harris administration is illegitimate no matter the presidential trappings. And, it also follows, that whatever comes out of the Biden/Harris administration, including executive orders, is illegitimate. You can decide what that means for you.

Whether the elected representatives, the Vice President, and the courts did not want to get involved in a politically charged matter or whether they were incompetent in their duties or whether they were simply going along with the steal, none of them prevented or acted to stop the steal in any way, except Justice Alito. (Some acted late in the game after immense pressure from constituents.)

The Vice President was asked by the President’s attorney and Pennsylvania state senators to delay the vote on Jan. 6th so that the state’s “questionable activities” and “numerous unlawful violations” could be investigated and so that the state’s legal votes could be tabulated:

Their letter to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy argues that the actions by Democratic state officials caused last-minute changes to election law not authorized by the legislature, including allowing mail-in ballots to be received and counted three days after Election Day.

V.P. Pence was never asked by anyone to decide the election. But he did anyway by not delaying the vote count as requested and by not seeking a legitimate vote count. V.P. Pence acknowledged in his Jan. 6th letter “significant allegations of voting irregularities … [he shares] the concerns of millions of Americans about the integrity of this election…” (You can download his letter below). Yet, this was all CYA psycho-babble. Pence rubber-stamped the steal and the actions of other faithless representatives of the people.

Why should we accept the legal blah, blah, blah of talking heads who say “Pence had no choice” or “there was no evidence” or “that the evidence was insufficient to alter election results” or “the courts rejected the cases, so there” or “blah blah blah”? Are they lazy? Too busy? Or, are they intimidated by the Left?

“One of the reasons I was called [by Trump] is because virtually every major law firm in this country and in this city refused to represent the President,” [James] Troupis explained. “Not because of the lack of merit of his claims — we’ve certainly demonstrated that there’s merit — but because of the cancel culture, because of the environment that has been created by the Left that has intimidated lawyers, so that they can’t be here.”

Many lack moral courage. This was affirmed by Alexander Solzhenitsyn in his Harvard address in 1978.

“A decline in courage may be the most striking feature that an outside observer notices in the West today. The Western world has lost its civic courage, both as a whole and separately, in each country, in each government, in each political party, and, of course, in the United Nations. Such a decline in courage is particularly noticeable among the ruling and intellectual elites, causing an impression of a loss of courage by the entire society. There are many courageous individuals, but they have no determining influence on public life.”

Should we lack moral courage and not question and investigate the glaring irregularities and fraud that has come to light? Or, should we say “there’s nothing to be done for it” and “Why should we bother (with what we have heard with our own ears and have seen with our own eyes) when so many say ‘Don’t bother’?”

You are aware. A Manchurian candidate – a sock puppet, really – is going to be installed on Jan. 20 as President-of-the-Lie. The shadow government of big tech-Reset globalists, with the aid of corporate media, are the ones moving the sock puppet’s mouth: “Now it’s time to turn the page …to unite and to heal”. The sock speaks and I hear “Accept the illegitimate election … sit down, shut up, and do what you are told from now on.” Biden is their means to “control the opposition.”

The over 70 million people – populists, nationalists, Protestants, Catholics, Jews, blacks, whites, Latinos, and those escaping tyranny in their home countries- the over 70 million people who voted in 2020 did not receive justice. America did not receive justice. Americans received a lie.

Why should you and I condone or embrace the illegitimate election as legitimate and obey whatever comes out of its illegality? If the election was legitimate, I would go along with the results. But that is not the case as it stands today. And I am well aware of what is behind the illegitimate election: evil

In my previous post The Takeover of 2020 I tried to outline that when evil gets its way, then those in its way can become disoriented, dispirited and depleted. As I write this, evil is de-platforming many on Twitter, Facebook and Google. These sites are not about justice. For, evil loves darkness and abhors the light. These sites are about putting your light under a bucket.

No. You are not crazy. Facts Matter. Evidence matters. Truth matters. Justice matters.

Americans are a justice hungry people. And we don’t accept slop. “We the people” want justice – a full and fair accounting and resolution of what happened to our Republic on and around the Nov. 3rd election.

The Takeover of 2020

We can all agree that 2020 was disorienting, dispiriting and depleting. We are reeling from the noxious effects of evil unleased in the midst of a great battle:

“There is no neutral ground in the universe. Every square inch, every split second is claimed by God, and counter claimed by Satan.” C.S. Lewis

2020 started on anything but a neutral ground.  The enemy of our souls, allied with powerful cultural forces – corporate media, ivory tower professors, big-tech oligarchs, and social media publishers – had taken over the cultural terrain. To hold their ground, you and I have been hit with a constant torrent of subversive propaganda to weaken our defenses. The messaging seeks to disorient, dispirit and deplete those who oppose them. It negates and zeroes out everything that is good in terms of a Creator and resets truth to be what power declares it to be. Here is a short list of the anti-human messaging:

  • The world has no Creator. You are not to be considered a creature of a good personal God. You are to be considered a chance by-product of a natural process randomly occurring out of chaos. The human world is a human construct.
  • Your life motivation, like all else in the “red in tooth and claw” universe, is the will to power.
  • Truth is what friends (and voters, viewers, etc.) let me get away with saying.
  • Science is not about finding the truth. There is no truth (we are told). Science is about the means for the will to power.
  • Christianity is at the root of all the problems facing mankind. Since we are creatures of earth, we must turn to the earth for our salvation. Ideology is to replace religion.
  • Language and what you say must be controlled because you must not get away with saying anything that smacks of truth.
  • The repudiation of reason, history, tradition, and metanarrative – rejection of anything that gives society understanding, meaning and hope as to how and why and that stands apart from ideology – allows one to rise above the aforementioned, claim the power of deconstruction and look down and mock.
  • The way forward is through self-consciousness, moral relativism, pluralism and Globalism.

Onto a minefield plotted by nihilists desiring to blast God-given life out of you, communist agitators -BLM protestors – flew in. It is clear from the Black Futures Lab donation page that the protests were sponsored by the Chinese Progressive Association (an agency of the Chinese Communist Party or CCP) among other anti-American sources.  COVID-19 – a bioweapon created and released by the Chinese Communist Party, also flew in.

Seeing a chance to claim a massive stretch of ground under the cover of crisis, western tech globalists and the Pope used the virus and their will to power. With their influence, money and authority (and the subservient corporate media) they sold “lockdowns”, a CCP containment model, as the means to achieve the Great Reset. The Great Reset is a complete restructuring of social and economic life on earth using as its model the CCP communist state.

The CCP uses biometric-technocratic surveillance of its people to keep them in line. You and I are under are to come under the same surveillance. You and I are to be made non-human obedient automatons of the Great Reset communist super-state. To enable this, the outcome of the 2020 election was manipulated.

According to Andrea Widburg “Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg may have played one of the biggest roles in swinging the election outcome.” Putting the CCP-compromised Joe Biden and the pliable Kamala Harris into office by any means necessary -election fraud in swing states – facilitates the globalist agenda.

Totalitarian globalists have taken over 2020. In doing so, they have shown that they hate populists. They have shown their hatred via the corporate media and by the evidenced election fraud. Globalists want to disorient, dispirit and deplete populist America.

To wit, Amazon, Walmart and other globalist big box stores had surging profits in 2020 while small businesses across the nation were being eviscerated not by COVID-19 but by the globalist-imposed lockdowns.

Globalists hate you and me. Globalists love non-thinkers and TV watchers. These nihilists will tell you that there is nothing to understand so why think at all?  Having power is all that matters. Those Gollums love those who have emptied themselves of resistance and follow them to Shelob’s lair.

 2020. Disorienting. Dispiriting. Depleting. On purpose. You and I are reeling from the noxious effects of evil unleased in the midst of a great battle.

Disoriented? One of the aspects of encountering evil is not being able to think straight. Confusion brought on by the repetition of lies, contradictory statements, and the layering of self-deception coupled with moral relativism produces stupor – an inability to think or act. (Shelob’s venom was not intended to kill its victims but only to render them unconscious and keep their meat fresh.) Corporate media sponsored by Globalists is the main source of confusion (and venom) today.

Dispirited? Evil is in opposition to life. Evil is not empathetic. Evil protects itself, its image. Hence, evil is opposed to free speech and to religion. Evil is opposed to redemption. Hence, the removal of meaning through deconstructionism and the cancel culture. Evil pursues a world of Absence and Nothingness.

Depleted? Evil is not simply the absence of goodness — it is actively hateful and destructive. The will to power is behind the bioweapon unleashed in the world and the election fraud unleashed in America.

The following sums up the what you and I have been exposed to:

Ordinary laziness is nonlove; evil is antilove.”

It has been said in clinical settings that naming something, in this case evil, gives us a certain amount of power over it. This power is not the will to power in order to control others, as the world defines. Rather, it is the power to not be overcome by evil and to resist evil in ourselves and to conquer evil with good …on the 2021 battlefield.
