Since the earliest days of my youth I have been seeking wisdom, knowledge and a good understanding. This pervasive endeavor was birthed in me as my mother read from the book of Proverbs at the dinner table each night after dinner.
Please, please, please sit down with your coffee and listen to the wisdom, clarity and common sense that Thomas Sowell brings to the issues of race, affirmative action, minimum wage, the negative effects of today’s intellectualism, multiculteralism, social justice, environmentalism, political correctness, diversity and a host of other hot-button cultural and economic topics. You will be doing yourself a favor – wisdom is like that.
Wisdom’s, Rebuke (Proverbs Chapter One)
Out in the open wisdom calls aloud

“Income inequality” is a false flag waved by socialist-redistributionists. They want your attention. They want to sell you tickets for a ride on their gravy train. Don’t buy it!!
Just as with the global warming hoax, income inequality as a universal ‘social justice’ mantra makes everyone in the world a victim.
Politicians, ‘social agenda’ oligarchs and the international ‘do-gooders’ employ others to create fear mongering ~ much like the under-the-table paid/tenured insured/grant-awarded global warming ‘scientists’ who ‘cooked the books’ to create global warming.
The above socialist’s cabal needs willing low information victims to join their crusade. With lemmings in tow a power grab is easy. Then, those in power can simply coerce money from wallets everywhere. Yet, in doing so, THEY create disproportionate income inequality.
That is, in fact, the main purpose of a union these days: gather ‘victims’ into the fold so as to “fight the ‘man’.” “Hand us your money and we will do battle against the ‘injustice’ of the ‘rigged’ system.” The deceit is compounded with the likes of Elizabeth Warren the poster child of a Grapes-of-Wrath-animus-driven-low-information class warfare.
In a growing and dynamic world economy income inequality can and should be expected. It means among other things that good things are happening. People are thriving, moving forward, the tide is rising. People everywhere on earth want to reap plentiful harvests and make profits. Is it “income inequality” to want to succeed rather than to fail? Is that “trickle down” economics or rising tide economics? Rising tide economics, of course! Except when government gets involved.
In stagnant low information Paul Krugman type economies Stagnation and its bedfellows Socialism, Egalitarianism and Going-Nowhere-Nihilism dusts off Keynesian policies to try and stir up ‘things’. But again, these policies lead to disproportionate income inequality, e.g, our current U.S. economy and the gap between the very poor and the very rich; the middleclass suffers the most.
There are several factors which contribute to “income inequality”. One is geo/political. Do you live in a resource rich area or a desert? Is there a rule of law where you live where contract laws are upheld?
Another factor is how you use what you have. For example: squandering money on Solyndra type money laundering projects, on bailouts, on $44 BN POTUS trips, etc. or perhaps buying lottery tickets, dope and malt liquor instead of investing in your future. (FYI! Charity can only happen if you haven’t squandered your money.)
More important than capital transfers is the transfer of knowledge.
Warren Buffet, as an example, and other successful investors know the companies they invest in before diving in with their capital. Being knowledgeable and using that knowledge to grow your pie also allows one to be pie-charitable.
Obama, on the other hand, doesn’t want knowledge transferred to you. He, without you knowing, will dive in with taxpayer money to gain political leverage for himself. ‘And, speaking of the importance of the transfer of knowledge, please don’t read the ACA law before you pass it!
Obama, as will Elizabeth Warren if she is elected to be POTUS, offers to us, the proles (see Orwell’s 1984) trickle down economics: Obamacare/food stamps/minimum wages/tuition reimbursement/throw-them-a-bone-to-keep-them-distracted fiscal polices. But then you already knew this.
What you need to know: Capitalism is knowledge based. You must know what the other person’s needs are before you try to sell them something. You think about others first. Is this inequitable?
If anything we have “knowledge inequality:” ~ a “love your neighbor as yourself” type inequality. That is something we can ask God for help with and he will answer our prayers.
There is no gravy train or free lunch. A focus on materialism feeds envy. Envy feeds materialism which feeds envy which feeds materialsm and so on. There is no train, only an insane carousel that never stops. You just have to get off. Don’t buy the tickets being offered.

Over the past several months I have been reading several of the Apostle Paul’s letters. He wrote to churches he had planted and to those he intended to visit such as the one in Rome.
His two letters to the Christians in Thessalonica struck me, especially in light of the terms “social justice” and “fair share” being pandered today by so~called Christian groups (Sojourners & Jim Wallis, etc.) under the guise of helping others.
What struck me within these particular letters is that Paul, without healthcare, without government subsidies, without insurance of any kind went about the business of the Kingdom of God, working with his own hands, as he states, making tents, paying his own way.
Paul said that he could have “entitled” himself to share in their “wealth” because he was a hard-working minister of the good news. Instead, he chose to not become a burden to the people he was talking to and therefore not a burden or an impedance to the freely offered Good News of the Kingdom of God.
“Here is a command we have for you, my dear family, in the name of our Lord Jesus the Messiah. Keep away from any member of the family who is stepping out of line, and not behaving according to the tradition that you received from us.
You yourselves know, after all, how you should copy us. We didn’t step out of line, nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. We worked night and day, with labor and struggle, so as to not place a burden on any of you. It wasn’t that we don’t have a right; it was so that we could give you an example, for you to copy us. And indeed, when we were with you, we gave you this command: those who won’t work shouldn’t eat!” II Thess. 3:6-10

Today I see many young people wanting to help others “socially.” Social media impacts and drives a lot of this desire and also a lot of misinformation about Capitalism and the Free-market. One only has to look at the Occupy Wall Street “movement” to see that there are some who have angst and anger about Capitalism, angst and anger revved up by the main stream media pushing Progressivism’s socialist agenda.
But we need Capitalism more than ever to restore human flourishing to our country. More importantly, we need Capitalism to help us Christians increase the Kingdom of God here on planet earth. Think fishermen, disciples, non-union community and fellowship, image-of-God creativity, Jerusalem~Christian-like charity, sparrow~like dependence on God ~ agape love feasts and more.
Capitalism combined with a knowledge of God and the freedom to act, can enable an individual to freely share the Kingdom of God with others and to do this without the middleman of government and apart from the propaganda of the main stream media. Why else would the Evil One so push for a centralized government where he can consolidate his power?
Here are some authoritative thoughts about capitalism’s creativity and information sharing that could have a positive impact on the Kingdom of God:
“In order for the entrepreneur to succeed, he must know that, if his creation generates an upside surprise, the related profits will not be confiscated or taxed away. If they may be confiscated, his entire project will not be able to attract the necessary resources to bring it to market.”
“The successful entrepreneur has found a creative way to serve his fellow-man, and his profits are the measure of the extent to which he has been of service. He needs to be able to keep those profits in order to be able to use what he has learned to bring other creative ideas to market to further serve his fellow-man. When a government takes away the entrepreneur’s profits, it essentially takes away his creative lifeblood.”

“A leftward administration can destroy the value of the 1 percent’s property, but cannot seize it or pass it on….Under capitalism, wealth is less a stock of goods than a flow of ideas and entropy….Capitalism is a system that begins not with taking but with giving to others.”

And remember, there are those who seek to profit by selling the Kingdom of God message in exchange for “social justice:”
Judas held the disciples’ money bag. The other disciples suspected that Judas stole coins from the purse. Judas likely decided that his “fair share” should come out of the donations received. And then, horrifically, Judas decides that he would sell out the Kingdom of God for the “good” of his nation ~ for his take on “social justice.”
Judas received thirty pieces of silver for his socially “conscientious” efforts. He then hanged himself (because you can’t invest blood money in good conscience). And finally like all revolutionaries, a public site ~ Akeldama ~ was named after Judas to memorialize his “social work.” Now that is“social justice.”

Fairshareconomics: the proposition that even though half the nation pays taxes and the other half who does not pay taxes benefits from the revenue is considered not fair enough. The proposition that those who pay taxes pay 100% more in taxes than those who do not is considered not fair enough. The proposition that even though there is a progressive tax structure in place which rises in percentage as you earn more, this is not fair enough. “Fair share” economics ultimately is where you pay until there is no more to pay and then its still not fair because you don’t have even more to pay. Besides, with EPA regulations we will make it impossible to generate fossil fuels in this country because we want the world to like us. Sojourners, Jim Wallis: “Republican budget is an immoral document.” What a load of partisan crock! Wallis plies you with this pietistic propaganda so as to pluck at your heart-strings! He’s implying that government has the moral responsibility to determine who gets what in our society. Why on earth would anyone put government in this position? Oh yes, the Evil One would. Jesus never called the government to come and follow Him. Jesus never told government to do anything for the poor. Never. Judas wanted that but Jesus, never. Sadly, though, people, completely ignoring history, subscribe to Sojourner’s brand of Gnosticism – mixing gospel with government. They do so not just at their own peril but also at the peril of the poor.
The U.S. Senate controlled by Harry Reid and the Democrats has not passed a budget in over 800 days. This is morally reprehensible. With no budget there is no accountability to the American people with regard to how taxpayer money is being spent. I don’t have to tell you that when there is no accountability for how our money is being spent then there is a lot of sleight of hand going on.
The House Budget Committee on Thursday released a report “demonstrating that economic hardships have been made worse by Washington’s misguided interventions and the lack of a credible plan to lift the crushing debt burden.”
The report, “Debt Overhang and the U.S. Jobs Malaise” comes at a timely moment: it has now been 800 days since the Senate has passed a budget.
“It’s really incredible” said Rep. Todd Young, R-Ind., a member of the House Budget Committee, “Democrats don’t get it. They either have trouble figuring out their priorities or they don’t want to reveal them to the American public. Instead we just get criticism for our plan, which is the only comprehensive plan out there.”
Wallis is a radical redistributive leftist hell-bent on radical redistributive social “justice.” Yet for Wallis and his ilk, true justice, justice for all, is just collateral damage in the war against poverty. It is to be thrown out the window for the sake of putting the poor on a pedestal. And with this shameful idolatry (remember the Israelites worshipping a golden calf – a facsimile representation of God?) comes the same old Robin Hood story – it’s perfectly OK to steal from the rich especially if you can villainize them first. Wallis and Obama know that a sucker (subscriber) is born every day.
You will be told by socialist quacks like Wallis (Marxist ideologues in sheep’s clothing) that voluntary charity doesn’t go far enough, that government needs to be involved.
Remember when the disciples brought a young boy to Jesus in response to enormous hunger needs?:
“Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”
The loaves and fishes freely offered by the young boy went as far as Jesus wanted it to go – to thousands of people! And so too, the widow’s mite. Don’t buy Wallis’ loaves and fishes. They will cost you everything.
The Democrats have done incredible damage to wealth creation, human initiative and human flourishing with their reckless spending and onerous regulations. They tax and regulate people out of business while at the same time building more casinos to strip away money thereby creating more poverty and more economic dependence. I live in Chicago. I see first hand the devastating results of the Dem’s social programs.
Voting for Democrats is like shooting yourself in the foot and also killing the poor person whose neck you are holding down to the ground with the jackboot of your “charity.”
The Republicans are correct – we need economic freedom for people – all people – to thrive. The Democrats redistribute what isn’t theirs to distribute. All private property and human rights are at risk under Obama the Terrible and a Democrat regime.

“Creating a world that is just, fair and equal.” This Progressive mantra was recited again yesterday. I heard it during a television interview of two historians at a history writer’s convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The black historian’s words sounded so right, so full of righteous human endeavor but in reality his words were the sounds of empty utopian piety deficit of any moral context.
A world that is just is a world where every man gives the other his due. Yet government’s redistribution of wealth does the opposite. It takes away from the taxpayer what is due him, his earnings and property and gives to someone else that which is not due him. This confiscation and redistribution of personal property is for no other reason than to turn unequal incomes into equal outcomes. This highway robbery is currently termed “social justice” by progressives today who were yesterday’s socialists.
Here is Josef Stalin, a murderous dictator, talking about his desire to see socialism dominate the world (meaning you and me):

St.Thomas Aquinas in his On the Book of Job (8,1) said:
“Justice is destroyed in twofold fashion: by false prudence of the sage and by the violent act of the man who possess power.”
As we see our nation become increasingly secular we see its structure being pulled away from its Judeo-Christian cornerstone. And in so doing we the ‘homeowners’ are becoming displaced and disordered much like furniture during a house relocation. Without realizing it we are becoming objects devoid of human nature, becoming the un-created or the walking dead. Removed from life’s foundation man is devoid of God-given inalienable rights as well. And with out individual inalienable rights there is only left to mankind the justification of totalitarian power, a totalitarian power that promises a “just, fair and equal world.” This secular utopian promise is not new to mankind: Hitler and Stalin among others promoted such ‘worlds’.
Justice can rightly be discussed only within a complete moral context that includes prudence, temperance, fortitude, charity and a host of other God-derived virtues. To replace that moral context with a secular humanism is to presume that God did not create humans. It presumes that God did not create man as a person, as a whole unto himself as a spiritual being that exists for itself and of itself and that wills its own proper perfection. On these grounds secular humanism denies individual God-given inalienable rights in favor of the general ‘good.’ This denial is imposed on us today in our democracy by majority rule – voters enthralled by the secular humanism advocated by the main stream media, by our president and by Democrats in particular are voting to empty man of his individual nature through law and fiat. They are doing so in the name of communal “social justice.” No one seems to notice except a few on the right.
Because of human nature there will always be those in a small camp who think to themselves “every man for himself” and “screw the other guy so I can get ahead.” And likewise, on the other hand, there will always be those who believe that each of us should give up our person, our property and our individualism for the good of the whole. Neither of these political philosophies should ever be put in power. And yet with high-sounding, pious jingoism pumped out by the main stream media propaganda machine the left is now succeeding into promoting the latter. We already know who the willing recepient is: “a sucker is born every day.”
As individuals each of us should act with justice toward our neighbor giving him his due. What is his due? My neighbor is due his inalienable God-given right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I owe him truth. I owe him the same love I give myself. I owe him freedom from coercion. Beyond that the mantras of “social justice,” fairness and egalitarianism become the Godless mind control pumping the ever marching jackboots of rank and file humanism. Once a sufficient numbers of useful idiots and stooges have succumbed to humanism’s opiate effect a sure and complete enslavement of our nation under a totalitarian regime will occur. Welcome to the world of the godless if Obama’s regime is re-elected in 2012.
For a world to be “fair” someone in power has to determine what is fair. Do you really want to use your vote for that kind of self-subjugation? Certainly there is no Biblical a priori for demanding that life must be fair. Where does this understanding of the need for fairness come from? Is there a philosophical argument for fairness? A moral one?
My guess would be that much of the “fairness” allure comes from popular psychology and socialist rhetoric both which absolve people of personal responsibility and seeks to rectify a person’s losses and hardships by pointing blame at others. Class warfare rhetoric is a prime example, as it defines others as being the reason for your lack. More devastating to our culture and its preoccupation with fairness is our nation’s increasingly secular nature, a secular nature of envy and jealousy actively promoted by president Obama in his many “fair share” speeches. Obama is a secularist wolf in Soros’ bought sheep’s clothing.
A world that is “equal” is a world that removes difference for the sake of bringing every one down to the same low common denominator and nothing more. Imagine our government choosing your husband or wife, your doctor, your food, your home and your words based on what is thought to be equal for everyone. Equal-outcome based thinking destroys incentive, destroys each man’s uniqueness, his God-given differences, his inalienable rights and eats away at civic life-like a flesh-eating disease feeding on its host.
According to Allan Bloom in his book The Closing of the American Mind: How Higher education Has Failed Democracy and Impoverished the Soul’s of Today’s Students in the chapter entitled Values “Egalitarianism is conformism…Egalitarianism is founded on reason, which denies creativity”
Imagine a world where there is no creativity and no aspirations only sameness. Imagine being a citizen of North Korea.
Without moral-based justice as an inoculation against greed and envy people would constantly be looking at others to compare themselves with their neighbor. Forget contentment in a world that is egalitarian.
Finally both fairness and egalitarianism, as laws enacted via secular humanist congressmen and presidents voted for, remove individual moral choice (justice) along with charity, fortitude and temperance from life. If the government does your thinking and makes your choices for you then you as an individual are absolved from any moral duty whatsoever. What than is the purpose of the individual? Without you the state becomes the all-powerful meat grinder and you along with everyone else become the human sausage extruded into the casings of humanism. Digest that if you will.

The Buffett Rule appears like a gesture of great benevolence toward the American poor and middle class: shake down the ultra rich and throw the poor and middle class pennies on the dollar. (More likely, though, they would receive a rhetorical bone.) Such magnanimity would make any gangster appear as a saintly Robin Hood.
Nobody asks the gangster where the rest of the money goes, the big money. Nobody knows anything until some business fails down the road. And when that happens big money is laundered and power is purchased. But the recipients of the gangster’s largesse don’t ask questions. That is because they get a piece of the action – empathy for their plight, scraps from the table. They have been hushed up. The gangster takes care of his own people. His own people take care of him.
You should know that Obama, Buffett and the Dems don’t want to pass the Buffett Rule. This is all just another rhetorical bone thrown out to get Obama reelected.

Why is Obama telling us that we should tax the rich? Why is he telling us that we should have their money? Where would that tax revenue money go? Why does he not tell us where it will go? Why does Obama want the money when he has created more public debt than any president before him? It is not like he cares about our national debt and he wants to pay it down. Credit and debt bind the debtor to the gangster just like on the mean streets of Chicago. I know. I have lived in Chicago for a long, long time.
There are hundreds if not thousands of ways to hide money in government budgets. Where did all money from the previous bail out go? And now with the Buffett rule on the table Obama is asking for even more money. Who would end up getting the money?
And, why are people letting Obama become more involved in their daily lives? To make others do what they want? To make others pay for what we want? For security? For a handout?
We are becoming a nation of slaves and addicts. A nation of slaves because there are those who surrender their liberty for the sake of a few scraps that fall from Obama’s tax table (pun intended). A nation of addicts because there are those we rely on a victim class status so as to continue to receive the sop and scraps from the government. Like the willing slave they choose this life for themselves over and over again.
This is the Buffet rule: “a sucker is born every day.”

Since the elections are days away from taking place I thought it important to post information to help inform your decision. Our nation is at the tipping point of being destroyed. A second Obama Term will make that happen. Vote wisely and not with feelings that do not pay the bills.
Socialism does not work in Europe. It will not work in America either, no matter the label on the snake oil bottle: Progressivism or Social Justice or Redistribution of Wealth. It’s bad bad medicine.
