“Greetings to our constituents, fellow Floridians, and all Americans, here we are for another weekly update. There is only one word that describes the past week: appalling.
It was appalling to hear the President of the United States truly threaten our nation’s senior citizens and Military Veterans/Retirees. Furthermore, the blatant lie that 80% of Americans want their taxes raised is beyond unconscionable.
I believe we are headed towards the ultimate ideological clash in America. There is a widening chasm which has developed between those who believe in principled fiscal policies and those desiring the socialist bureaucratic nanny-state. An unfortunate aspect to this is the complicity of a mainstream media which does not report facts, but rather ideological bias. This clash will determine the future and legacy of our Constitutional Republic.

The unemployment rate under President Obama is a problem of epic proportions, national (9.2%), black community (16.2%), and among veterans (approx 12%). This comes from someone who told us his almost trillion-dollar stimulus would keep unemployment in America under 8%. As well, the almost $2 trillion Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act has been a disaster, and the worst is yet to come.

The problem is, there is no confidence and certainty in the fiscal vision emanating from Washington D.C. and hence revenues and receipts are down. We are not setting the conditions or creating an environment for economic and job growth. For all of you, that is what has to change, and that is where I am committed to seeing change and not the empty rhetorical doublespeak of 2008.

“That’s All I Can Stands, I Can’t Stands No More”

Americans are upset about the impasse in the debt limit talks and about the enormous debt encumbered on each of us but Americans have themselves to blame.  Here’s why.

 Over time, especially since the 1930s, Americans have given the government all of its powers.  Americans have continually asked government to do more for them, the latest entitlement being Obamacare. Americans have increased the size of government and with it the magnitude of problems have increased exponentially due to politics, lobbyists, etc.

 The greater the size of the government the greater the chance for lobbyists to steer the course of legislation to their benefit and they will do it under the radar.  The greater the size of our government the greater the chance that our tax money will fall between the cracks and will profit someone else.  There is no accountability, effectively, for government.  The three branches of government are often enablers.  Government wields its power through taxation and by creating onerous laws and is accountable to no one, not even the voter. It just keeps growing in power because people keep voting in people who promise the world. The checks and balance of our three-cornered system need to be checked and balanced.  We desperately need a Balance Budget Amendment.

 Because people keep asking for more and more ‘stuff’ the politicians promise them this ‘stuff’ to get their vote.  What the voter gets in return is pennies on the dollar. Yet, people, like lemmings, keep voting for a tax and spend Democratic ticket that always brings the US to the brink of financial disaster. Why? Ask yourself.

 I am an independent.  I would never vote Democratic.  The mindless tax and spend policies of Democrats coupled with the embrace of abortion makes their platform prohibitive to me, an Independent and a Christian. The Democratic party is the party of Death, Deference and Dependence.

 I am independent because I believe in a very small government structure, a government that only provides for the national defense, the interstate highways and transportation and the rule of law, enacting justice and not fairness. This kind of government would hold tightly to the Constitution and not make it a “blowin’-with-the-wind” document.

I do not want national healthcare. And, I wish I had all of my Social Security monies that I have paid in so that I can invest those monies in a better way. I don’t need government to do this for me.

 I am a Christian. I give to the poor.  I don’t need government to do this for me through social welfare programs.  Only a fraction of tax monies goes to help the poor.  The rest is used to support the government program and graft. Our country is already a socially just nation without all the welfare programs usurping tax dollars. 

Pet projects:  Planned Parenthood, NPR, the National Endowment for the Arts, etc should never receive tax monies. There should be no Federal earmarks, no Federal bailouts, no pork belly earmarks  – no earmarks whatsoever.  Deep pockets should not mean deeper spending.

I will never understand why African-Americans continue to vote Democratic.  The policies of Democrats promote an enslavement to the federal and state government through dependence on welfare programs: Uncle Sam, the new “Massah”.

 Our representatives in Washington and our local representatives should only be making absolutely sure that our liberties are not infringed upon and that no new laws are being passed.  Period. We should never give them the responsibility or the monies for any programs other than for defense and transportation.  Never.   Our reps should basically have nothing to do but twiddle their thumbs and make self-aggrandizing speeches.

 In the end, I guess we do have a representative form of government – bloated, self-serving, wasteful and out of control.

2012:  Do you really want four more years of:

  • Blaming Bush for the enormous national debt incurred under Obama’s watch?
  •  Blaming corporate jet owners for having money? (The jets are primarily used to make sales that create & maintain jobs. BTW: Nancy Pelosi uses a government (the largest corp.)- jet.)
  •  Straw man arguments leading to more blaming of others and deflection of responsibility?
  •  
  • Obama’s wars?
  •  
  • Blaming the failure of bad economic policies on under funding (not enough tax money coming in)?
  •  
  • 9.2 % unemployment, recession and inflation?
  •  
  • Condescension, obstinacy & shaming?
  •  
  • A destructive learning curve for a Chicago politician with no life experience other than the circle jerking of community organizing?
  •  
  • Class warfare & the segregation of people into economic & social classes, turning America backwards in time?

I think a lot of people, especially college kids, recent grads and sixties leftovers voted for Obama in 2008 hoping to download the Cradle to Grave Entitlement App – Push the button, download the App and government does it all:  health care, social security, cheap student loans, amnesty for all, social justice, diversity…: “

Mad Hominem

Barack Hussein Obama or Mr. Strawman Wizard, the shaman of progressive bushwa, wants tax increases to fight the deficit. He says he wants to sacrifice sacred cows.

In fact, Mr. Strawman Wizard says that he doesn’t want our kids to be sacrificed.  He wants the owners of corporate jets to be sacrificed. He wants to do this for the gods of social justice – the class warfare gods. They are not happy campers on Mount Olympus (see the riots in Greece for more information). 

Wow! I wonder if  Michele will have to cancel her next trip out of the country?  (What’s that?  A four on the hole, Mr. Obama?)

If you don’t know by now, Obama’s demand of the Republicans is the standard, out of the box solution for a Democrat: Raise Taxes (and building casinos). But can you believe it? This is what this most intelligent (we are told) man wants to do:  Raise taxes. This Chicago Whiz Kid Pol has no other plan!

Once again we see the continued attempt to shakedown (called redistribution of wealth by progressives & socialists) the American People through the tax system.

You undoubtedly know that we are in a recession and we have inflation:  gas prices are up, food prices are up and the housing market is in the dumpster.  When was the last time you had a decent pay increase?

Moronic squeeze:  inflation and a tax increase w/malaise to go before I sleep.

 It is way past time to tar, feather and run this witch doctor out on a rail (or, at least put him in the Way Back machine where he can’t sacrifice anybody.)

History as Cynicism

Imagine a popular American history book that never mentions Christianity or conservatism. Pull the lever and out comes the pellet –  Howard Zinn’s  A People’s History of the United States, 1492-Present.

Here is a passage from Michael Kazin’s article in Dissent Magazine, talking about this cynically myopic book:

“(Howard Zinn’s) failure is grounded in a premise better suited to a conspiracy-monger’s Web site than to a work of scholarship. According to Zinn, “99 percent” of Americans share a “commonality” that is profoundly at odds with the interests of their rulers. And knowledge of that awesome fact is “exactly what the governments of the United States, and the wealthy elite allied to them-from the Founding Fathers to now-have tried their best to prevent.”

History for Zinn is thus a painful narrative about ordinary folks who keep struggling to achieve equality, democracy, and a tolerant society, yet somehow are always defeated by a tiny band of rulers whose wiles match their greed. He describes the American Revolution as a clever device to defeat “potential rebellions and create a consensus of popular support for the rule of a new, privileged leadership.” His Civil War was another elaborate confidence game. Soldiers who fought to preserve the Union got duped by “an aura of moral crusade” against slavery that “worked effectively to dim class resentments against the rich and powerful, and turn much of the anger against ‘the enemy.'”

Nothing of consequence, in his view, changed during the industrial era, notwithstanding the growth of cities, railroads, and mass communications. Zinn views the tens of millions of Europeans and Asians who crossed oceans at the turn of the past century as little more than a mass of surplus labor. He details their miserable jobs in factories and mines and their desperate, often violent strikes at the end of the nineteenth century-most of which failed. The doleful narrative makes one wonder why anyone but the wealthy came to the United States at all and, after working for a spell, why anyone wished to stay.”

Helter Skelter Democracy

Our country is rapidly becoming a place where each person’s life will be dictated by “Democracy” and not by moral objective Truth and righteousness. A majority of voters (many informed only by a salacious media and junk journalism) will tell you how to live, what’s right and wrong and what’s politically correct.  In other words, a democracy built on sand.

On any given day we are quickly told that fairness should rule the day and that fairness trumps everything. Fairness is the anointing oil used by the social justice market-eers. Yet, fairness is not justice and a majority vote is not fairness. And most important of all, fairness is often a compromise of the Truth.  You should know that Jesus, Truth Incarnate, never talked about fairness or wealth redistribution.  But, his disciple Judas did while pocketing some of the donated money for himself. For Judas, it was only fair. Right?

Fairness as a determiner for social justice quickly leads to a demand for equal outcomes. Who decides what is fair? Who pays for equal outcomes? Remember the wise King Solomon ready to slice a baby in two so that each claimant would receive equal outcomes? A fair decision? Yes. A wise decision? No.

As I see it, the more our “Democratic” system of government supplants individual liberties and moral convictions with fairness forcing its will upon us, the more we stand to lose as individuals. Take a hard look at the seemingly benign entitlement like Obamacare. Soon, we will all become a DMV number on a waiting list waiting for the health care that is prescribed (and voted on) by a majority of amoral people.  Having a health insurance card and having access to health care are two very different things.  Wait and see. Obamacare is a hospital of cards.

Or, see how our government is redefining life as we know it. The sanctity of a man-woman marriage is being mocked by the State’s allowance for gay marriage. We are being told that this is only fair. Is it fair to those in a natural marriage ? I refer you to the second paragraph.

And, the State is the using (and defining) ‘quality of a life’ criteria so that abortions can take place. Is abortion fair to the aborted child? We are lost and we’ve lost a sense of right and wrong, a sense of our true selves. A sense of entitlement (our rights) blurs our vision. We seek to create a sense of self based on what is deemed fair and expedient at the moment and not on Rock solid principles of Truth.

As an outcome, in order to survive our character and our moral foundations will be exchanged for a black market ethos. We will sell, buy and trade ourselves to maintain our selves. We are becoming the animals/machines (the Eloi and Morlocks of H. G. Well’s Time Machine) that proponents of naturalism want us to believe that we are. And, if you are a Naturalist and believe that unabated atheism makes you intellectually fulfilled, then take a look at where you are heading. It’s not up the ladder.

If the whims of fairness are the only deciding principles in any situation, what choices do you really have? Only those who are in power will decide what is fair. Soon, you won’t have the liberty to decide. You will have traded it for a bucket of sand labeled fairness.

You will then have to abdicate your beliefs and convictions to be accepted in the ‘fair’ society as politically correct.  Truth, no longer objective, will become what our ‘friends’ let us get away with saying (the philosophy of Richard Rorty).

Finally, a Democracy with moral turpitude won’t get my vote. There’s already a drainage sewer called Europe.

There can be no true enduring Democracy in our land without Objective Truth as the Head Cornerstone and a foundation which is built on the Solid Rock.

Don’t Do It

The phallic presidency of Obama the Virile has fallen flat: 9.1 % unemployment, a stagnant economy and a limp foreign policy.  Wage increases for these past ten years have only been 4% compared to all other ten-year periods including the Great Depression. Wage increases during the ten years of the Great Depression were 5%!

The Robin Hood rhetoric (take from the rich and give to the poor) is just more B-movie genre politics. The You-Tube generation, Labor Unions and the Sixties Leftovers who voted for Obama just want another tingle up their leg, another swami to swoon. These Percy-like (The Green Mile) liberals pee their pants whenever they face real life and death issues – issues requiring serious character strength.  Dont’ give these sissified whiners an inch. They claim a higher social consciousness* than the rest of us.  Bull sh__!  They’re just ‘higher’ than the rest of us. Don’t go for this leftist Hollywood sequel. We need real people to govern.

Obama, the Manchurian candidate under a teleprompter spell, wants to buy your vote (GM bailout, big labor favoritism, Obamacare, etc. ) as does George Soros who spent 48 million dollars to influence the media via Think Progress, Media matters and their ilk.  America don’t do it. America deserves better than the wet dream called Obama.
